Celina Jaitly Shares Husband Peter Haag Blocked Access To Her 3 Kids, 'Despite Joint Custody..'

Celina Jaitly, in November 2025, filed for divorce from husband, Peter Haag, at an Andheri court in Mumbai. The actress alleged domestic violence and abu** by her husband. It was on January 13, 2026, when Celina revealed that she had lost her children the day she decided to leave Austria to protect her dignity, her kids and her brother. Celina speaking about her painful divorce in her long note shared of leaving Austria on October 11, 2025, with the assistance of neighbours. She shared her experience of escaping what she called systematic oppression and abu**.

Celina Jaitly addressed her painful divorce note to all the men and women who eached out with their stories of abu**ve marriages. She revealed that in India, she had to approach the court simply to enter and access her own house. It is a property she purchased in 2004, long before her marriage, which her husband, Peter Haag, is now seeking to claim as his own. The actress shared that she took a loan and revealed that, despite having joint custody, she has been denied all types of communication with her kids. In her words:

"Despite joint custody & a subsisting order of the Austrian Family Court, I am presently denied any communication with my 3 children & I am heartbroken! There has been repeated interference with my children’s access to me, including exposure to selective media narratives, resulting in obstruction of regular parent child communication, as well as brainwashing & intimidation to compel them to say things against me."

Celina shared that as a mother, she has done nothing but care for her kids since the day they were born. She revealed moving from one country to another to support the career of Peter, who is the father of her kids. Celina, moving ahead, shared that in September 2025, her husband served her with a divorce notice on the pretext of receiving a gift ordered for their 15th anniversary at the local post office, to which he had driven her. Celina then repeatedly and legally sought an amicable separation in good faith, prioritising only the welfare of her kids. Her painful note further read:

"Overnight, I was required to justify my role as a mother, as a parent, despite being their mother & the primary caregiver to my children. My entire world was snatched from me in one moment. These efforts were met with demands relating to my premarital assets and unreasonable conditions intended to str** me of my freedom and dignity even after divorce."

The actress further shared that overnight, she was required to justify her role as a mother and parent, despite being the mother of her kids and being the primary caregiver. Celina shared of how her full world collapsed and was snatched from her in one moment. Celina also shared that when she asked for an amicable separation, she was told that her professional background and achievements were irrelevant. She was advised to take up work as a cleaner or in a supermarket in the small village where they lived in Austria, simply to retain the joint custody of her kids. The actress questioned why, when she could make a life for herself successfully in her own country, on her own terms. She was being denied by her kid after being heartlessly discarded post taking her assets.
