Charlie Kirk's Friend, Frank Turek Reveals His Last Moments After Being Shot, '..With Jesus Already'

Charlie Kirk, a conservative political activist and ally of Donald Trump, was at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025, debating and conversing with students as part of his Turning Point U.S.A. tour. However, in a shocking turn of events, the popular media personality was shot dead by an unseen assassin, now alleged to be a student named Tyler Robinson. Talking about the fatal moment, Charlie Kirk's friend, Frank Turek, opens up about his last moments at the late activist's funeral service. 

Frank Turek says Charlie Kirk died instantly after being shot 

Author, Frank Turek spoke at Charlie Kirk's funeral service and said to the mourners that the conservative political activist was in heaven. Turek then stated he was present when Charlie Kirk was shot and put in an SUV by his security team and immediately rushed to a hospital. The author said that he rushed into the car along with many other people, and they tried to look for help. Turek shared that they even thought of giving Charlie Kirk CPR, but he had already passed away. Frank Turek said:

“Charlie wasn’t there. His eyes were fixed. He wasn’t looking at me. He was looking past me right into eternity. He was with Jesus already. He felt absolutely no pain. That’s what I was told later. But of course we had to try."

Frank Turek said that the doctor had found a pulse back 

Frank Turek revealed that for a few seconds, there was hope as the doctor had found a pulse back. They all prayed for a miracle then. But the shot was 'catastrophic', the doctor reportedly stated. Frank Turek said:

“They did get a pulse back, we were praying for a miracle. The doctor said, ‘We got a pulse because Charlie was a very healthy man. But the shot was catastrophic'."

More about Charlie Kirk's death and apprehending the alleged assassin

Charlie Kirk was shot dead in front of hundreds of people during his TPUSA event. Although the police immediately caught a senior citizen, he was later released, with evidence indicating that it was someone else. After initially apprehending the wrong person for the shooting, the FBI released 'person of interest' photos, which showed a seemingly male subject wearing a black T-shirt with an American flag, dark sunglasses and a cap.

Later, the President of the U.S.A. revealed that the assassin was in custody and somebody very close to him had turned him in. As per reports, Charlie Kirk's shooter is a 22-year-old student, Tyler Robinson. And the 'close person' who turned him in is none other than his own father, Matthew 'Matt' Robinson. US President, Donald Trump confirmed the arrest of Tyler Robinson and shared with Fox News:

"The person was involved with law enforcement, but was a person of faith, a minister, and brought him to a US Marshal who was fantastic. They drove into the police headquarters, and he's there now. We have the person that we think is the person we're looking for."
