Charlie Kirk's Assassination, Suspect In Custody After Massive Manhunt, 'Somebody Very Close To Him'

Donald Trump's close ally was shot dead at a Utah college event on September 13, 2025. The assassination left shockwaves in the entire world. Soon, the FBI started investigating the matter, and now, they have released photos of the 'person of interest' in the murder. The accused was a young man wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses. US President Donald Trump made the big revelation of taking the suspect into custody.

Donald Trump revealed that the suspect has been taken into custody

On September 12, 2025, US President, Donald Trump announced that the man in question is under custody. In an interview with Fox News, he further added that someone very close to Charlie Kirk turned against him.  He said:

"Somebody very close to him turned him in."

It is worth mentioning that Fox News host Jesse Watters urged the people that the killing showed how his side of the political views is under attack. Even Trump went on to urge the supporters not to show violence, as Kirk has been an advocate of non-violence. He stated that this is the way he wants people to come in and support.

It is worth mentioning that the FBI was on their toes to investigate Charlie Kirk's assassination. A palm print, a shot impression, and a high-powered rifle were found in the wooded area. Those were the biggest clues that were laid out as they pleaded for the public's help in identifying the person who assassinated conservative activist Charlie Kirk. The search continued till September 12, 2025.  

For the unversed, Kirk was shot dead while he was addressing the crowd gathered in the courtyard at Utah Valley University in Orem. According to reports, more than 7,000 leads have come in, but the authorities have not yet named a suspect or the motive in the killing. 

We hope Charlie Kirk receives justice and the accused receives the appropriate punishment.
