Bangtan Boys, aka BTS, is popularly known as the leading K-pop boy group. The seven-member band has taken the world by storm with their music and dancing prowess. Be it as a group or as individuals, the boys are doing exceptionally well both on their professional and personal front. The BTS members are recently going for their compulsory military enlistment for two long years. While some members have already left for their enlistment, like RM, others are following the lead.
On December 11, 2023, BTS' Jungkook and Kim Taehyung left for their two-year compulsory military enlistment, which made all their fans teary-eyed. For the unversed, as per South Korean government rules, all their physically abled men are bound to serve in the military for eighteen to 21 months. This rule applies to all men from the age group of eighteen to thirty-five years.

On December 11, 2023, Charlie Puth took to his official X account (former Twitter) and shared a heartfelt note of appreciation for Jungkook. In the post, Charlie thanked Jungkook for virtually connecting to Charlie's TikTok live concert and expressed his desire to perform with him again. Charlie further added:
"I want to thank Jung Kook for joining us on stage virtually last night. It is a very full circle moment- from discovering his WDTA cover, to performing together in 2018 for the first time, and he wanted his final performance was with me! I feel very lucky, and I can't wait to perform with him again when he is back. Thank you to BTS and the BTS army for all the love and support always. I will see you soon, JK."
Kim Taehyung, aka V, is the youngest and the most loved member of BTS. Actor, Park Seo Joon took to his social media and shared a photo of BTS' V with the Wooga Squad as they lovingly bid farewell to Kim Taehyung. In the picture, all the squad members are lovingly looking at V in the black and white image. The image was captioned as:
"Take care, youngest one."

Jungkook and Jimin start their military training today, and their fellow band members, Jhope and Suga, come to see them off. The boys shared a picture for one last time before they all departed for their enlistment. In the picture, Jungkook and Jimin are smiling and flaunting their shaved heads. Jhope shared this post with the caption:
"Time is flying."
