The American singer-songwriter and music composer Charlie Puth is soon to become a father. Charlie Puth revealed in his new music video, Changes, that he is expecting his first child with his wife, Brooke. Charlie, who recently appeared on Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Show on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, talked about his and his wife's expecting their first child. The couple, who tied the knot on September 7, 2023, is experiencing parenthood after two years of marriage.

Charlie recently made an appearance after announcing his wife's pregnancy, discussing what the couple is experiencing. He replied that they are expecting a baby in March 2026. Also, on The Tonight Show, Charlie performed his new single, Changes. He thinks he is going to be a good dad, but won’t reveal the gender. When asked if Charlie has any music planned for the baby, the singer replied that he hopes his child will like music, as it's the only thing he is good at. Charlie said:
“Well, I feel like I’m gonna do what my mom did for me. My mom used to put the headphones. It was the 90s, so the headphones were big, and she just put ‘em on her tummy. I think I listened to James Taylor, Luther Vandross, and I feel like I got a wide array of music. So, I’ll do the same thing, whether Brooke likes it or not.”

Charlie Puth is officially stepping into a new chapter: fatherhood. Charlie, who is a 33-year-old singer-songwriter, is expecting his first child. He revealed his wife’s pregnancy through a scene in the music video for his latest single, Changes. In the music video, Charlie stands beside Brooke and gently places her hands on her belly. Charlie shared the video on Instagram and wrote, “There’s been some changes…”

Even before they announced the news of their pregnancy, fans already speculated after Puth posted a cryptic post on Instagram on October 8, 2025. He teased his fans with his new songs, which were the perfect way to share “the most beautiful, colorful part” of his life.
