Popular celebrity couple, Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen were once considered one of the most loved and admired couples in the television industry. For some time now, the duo has been in a troubled relationship, and they have finally filed for divorce. However, Charu and Rajeev have maintained to be on cordial terms with each other and are co-parenting their daughter, Ziana Sen.
According to a report in ETimes TV, it is being stated that Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen's final divorce hearing is scheduled for June 8, 2023. The sources shared that the estranged couple's divorce proceedings started in January 2023, and they were given a cooling-off period of six months. After some counselling sessions, the couple is all prepared for their final hearing after which their divorce will come through.

Even after going through a rough patch, Charu and Rajeev are making sure to give their daughter, Ziana a healthy atmosphere. Earlier, in an interview with Times TV, Rajeev opened up about co-parenting his daughter, Ziana with his estranged wife, Charu, and said:
"Ziana will always be my priority. Sometimes you have to look at the bigger picture. It is never about any individual and it is about the child. For me as a father it is very important to give her that kind of security and to make sure that her upbringing is done in the right way."
Charu Asopa often becomes a victim of online trolling, as she is often judged for everything she does. Reflecting on the same, in an interview with ETimes, the actress shared how people judge her for wearing revealing clothes and pass hate comments on her. However, she added that the trolls have increased manifold now that she is a single mother. In her words:
"When you are a mother, there's judgement that you can't wear revealing clothes. Some people comment that 'Jaise jaise divorce ka date paas aa raha hai, waise waise kapde chote hote ja rahe hain'. I used to wear such clothes before as well, but then it was fine. But now it's not because I am a single mother. If I am wearing such clothes, it doesn't mean I don't love my daughter. People say leave all this, and focus on the kid."

For the unversed, Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa entered marital bliss back in 2019 after a few years of courtship. Later, it was in 2021 when the couple welcomed a baby girl, Ziana into their lives. However, troubles soon started appearing in their married life. From criticising each other to playing the blame game in their interviews, Rajeev and Charu never shied away from washing their dirty linen in public. But the duo gave their marriage a second chance and took a fresh start for their daughter. However, all their efforts went in vain, and they opted for separation.
