It was in May 2021 when television's sweetheart, Charu Asopa had announced the news of expecting her first child with hubby, Rajeev Sen. Post their pregnancy announcement, both Rajeev and Charu had been sharing adorable glimpses from their pregnancy diary. From her pregnancy cravings to the baby shower, Charu and Rajeev documented every tiny happiness of their nine-month journey.
Talking about their pregnancy announcement, on May 21, 2021, Charu Asopa had shared gorgeous pictures on her IG handle, flaunting her baby bump. Looking stunning in her beige-coloured dress, Charu’s pregnancy glow was unmissable. She had captioned the pictures as “Grateful, thankful, blessed.” On the other hand, Rajeev had shared a picture with Charu, where the two had looked adorable in their traditional attires and had written, “Happiness is on the way #weare3”

A while back, on his IG handle, Rajeev Sen announced the news of becoming a father for the first time. He shared a series of pictures from the hospital room where Charu and Rajeev can be seen cherishing the moment of holding their little one for the first time. Sharing that they are blessed with a baby girl, Rajeev wrote:
"Blessed with a baby girl Charu is doing fine & fit .. So proud of my wife for being strong right till the end .. Thank you all for your prayers .. Thank you God."
On September 18, 2021, Charu had shared a Reel on her IG handle from the ‘behind-the-scenes’ of her maternity photoshoot. In the video, Charu had looked like a mermaid in a lilac off-shoulder gown with frills on the hemline. Her 7 months baby bump and pregnancy glow were unmissable in the video. She had captioned it as “Photo Shoot by @anish_sonakshi.photography."

In August 2021, Charu had her baby shower ceremony. The gorgeous actress had shared some pictures from her baby shower on her IG handle. She had looked gorgeous in an orange and red coloured bandhani lehenga style saree, which she had accessorised with flower jewellery that included a maang teeka, bracelet, and neckpiece. Charu's sister-in-law, Sushmita Sen, had also attended the ceremony and was seen performing her nanad duties. The former Miss Universe had donned a pink salwar suit. Along with the pictures, Charu had written, "Some baby shower rituals pictures" in the caption.
In an interview with The Times Of India, Charu had spoken about the surreal feeling when she had heard the heartbeat of her baby for the first time. Talking about the magical moment, Charu had stated:
“The moment I got goosebumps was when I did my first sonography in 6th week. I still get goosebumps when I recall hearing my baby’s heartbeat for the first time. Oh my god, it was magical, unbelievable. That’s the first time I realised that I have another human inside me. It’s a very different feeling and can’t be described in words.”
