TV actress, Charu Asopa had married the love of her life, Rajeev Sen on June 16, 2019, in Goa as per Rajasthani and Bengali rituals. Despite hitting a rough patch in their married life, the couple had decided to hold on to each other tight and now, they are ready to enter the most blissful phase of their lives. Earlier, Rajeev had talked about planning to begin the next phase of their lives, and now, the couple is experiencing their first pregnancy journey.

Yes, Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen are expecting their first baby together. They had made the evening of May 21, 2021, special for their fans by giving them a sweet surprise and announcing their pregnancy news. Taking to her IG handle, Charu had announced her pregnancy by sharing beautiful pictures, flaunting her baby bump. The mommy-to-be had looked alluring in her beige-coloured dress and her pregnancy glow was unmissable. She had captioned the pictures as “Grateful, thankfull, blessed.” On the other hand, her husband, Rajeev had shared a picture with Charu, where the two had looked royal in their traditional attires and had written, “Happiness is on the way #weare3.”
For every expecting woman, pregnancy craving is the most anticipated phase. From ice cream cravings at midnight to aachar temptations in mid-day, a pregnant lady can ask for anything at any time and of course, their baby demands it all. Taking to her IG handle, Charu Asopa shared a funny post dedicated to her pregnancy cravings. The post is all about how a baby in the womb gets hungry and immediately orders food from womb service despite the time in the clock and every mom-to-be can relate to it.
Charu Asopa is expecting her first child in the month of November 2021. In an interview with The Times of India, Charu had talked about her pregnancy and her reaction on seeing the positive results. She had said, “Rajeev and I were planning this for quite some time but you know these things never happen according to your planning. When we had given up, we got a surprise. I learnt this in my 4th week. I had this feeling that I should do a test and when I did the first test it came out to be negative but the second report came out positive. I was so used to doing tests by then that I was prepared that it was going to be negative, but suddenly I got this surprise. This is a new chapter in Rajeev and my life. I am in my first trimester. The baby is due in November.”

Wondering how Charu’s, husband, Rajeev Sen and sister-in-law, Sushmita Sen had reacted to her pregnancy? Well, Charu had revealed their reaction too in the conversation. She had said, “Sushmita didi is so excited. She keeps sending me voice notes and the messages she sends are amazing to hear. She is very happy and is just waiting for the baby. Everybody is so excited, so happy in the family. Be it Rajeev, my mother-in-law, Sushmita didi or my side of the family. It is going to be after a long time that there will be a new baby in the family. So everyone is very happy. I have been getting so many congratulatory messages from everyone ever since I've announced the pregnancy.”
Charu is in her first trimester and had revealed the surreal feeling when she had heard the heartbeat of her baby for the first time. Talking about the magical moment, Charu had stated, “The moment I got goosebumps was when I did my first sonography in 6th week. I still get goosebumps when I recall hearing my baby’s heartbeat for the first time. Oh my god, it was magical, unbelievable. That’s the first time I realised that I have another human inside me. It’s a very different feeling and can’t be described in words.”
