Charu Asopa's personal life has grabbed a lot of attention in the last year. For the unversed, Charu was earlier married to Rajeev Sen. However, after a few years of marital bliss, the duo called it quits. Moreover, the way they continue to co-parent their daughter is praiseworthy. Even after getting divorced from each other, we have seen Rajeev and Charu being cordial with each other, and recently, the actress opened up about the same.
In a recent interview with the Hindustan Times, Charu Asopa opened up about her equation with her ex-husband, Rajeev Sen. The actress shared that she has been cordial with Rajeev for the sake of their daughter. Charu mentioned that she wants to keep everything simple for her daughter, Ziana, and she can meet her dad anytime she wants. Charu mentioned that she doesn't want to keep any restrictions for Ziana so that she would feel that she cannot meet anyone she wants. Charu stated:
"I am going to keep it very simple for Ziana, because I don’t want to complicate things for her. Kal ko vo aur badi hogi toh mai chaahti hu vo sabke saath comfortable feel kare. Usko kabhi aisa feel nahi hona chahiye ki ‘vo yahan nahi jaasakti, vahan nahi jaasakti, ya isse usse nahi milsakti’. She should feel comfortable, which is why I have to cordial with Rajeev obviously.”

Going further in the interview, Charu Asopa mentioned that her ex-husband, Rajeev Sen, can come and meet their daughter whenever he wants to. Talking more about the same, Charu stated that she and Rajeev meet occasionally whenever anything related to Ziana happens. Charu can be quoted as saying:
"Generally also, there are no specific restrictions on Ziana. Rajeev ko jab milne aana hota hai usse, vo aate hain. We meet occasionally only when there is something happening related to Ziana."
In the same interview, Charu Asopa revealed what kind of equation she still shares with her former in-laws. The actress stated that she invited her former mother-in-law, father-in-law, and sister-in-law, Sushmita Sen, to Ziana's birthday so that everyone could enjoy their hearts out. Charu added:
"It was Zianna’s birthday and I was calling everyone in the family so I also called Rajeev because he is her father. I even invited my mother-in-law, father-in-law and Sushmita (actor Sushmita Sen) didi, ki sab aayenge toh maza aayega and Ziana ko bhi accha lagega.”
It was back on November 1, 2023, when Charu Asopa hosted a grand birthday bash as her daughter, Ziana turned two years old. Several glimpses from the same occasions made rounds on social media. In the photos, we could see the little one looking pretty as she donned a cutesy pink dress. Ziana could be seen cutting a crown-themed cake. In one of the photos, we could see Ziana's bua, Sushmita adorably making the little one wear a crown. Moreover, the photos spoke volumes about the blast they had.

It was back on June 8, 2023, when Rajeev Sen took to his IG handle and dropped a mushy photo with Charu Asopa. In the photo, Rajeev could be seen hugging Charu from the back. Sharing the photo, Rajeev penned an emotional note, wherein he mentioned that there are no goodbyes; rather, the fact is that sometimes two people fail to hold onto each other. In the concluding segment of the note, Rajeev also stated that he and Charu would always be parents to their daughter.
Post their divorce, Charu and Rajeev have been in a cordial relationship. From celebrating occasions together, including Ganesh puja and Father's Day, to becoming each other's support, the ex-couple are leaving no stones unturned to take care of their daughter, and it's praiseworthy.
