Charu Asopa is one of the most amazing actresses in the television industry. She made her acting debut with a negative role in the TV serial, Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo, in 2009. Later, she went on to work in some popular daily soap operas like Mahadev, Bade Achhe Lagte Hai, Mere Angne Mein and many more. Off lately, the actress grabbed a lot of headlines for her estranged relationship with her ex-husband, Rajeev Sen. However, now the duo have parted ways and are happily co-parenting their baby girl, Zianna Sen.
Apart from being an amazing actress, Charu Asopa is a popular YouTuber. In her new YouTube vlog, the actress opened up about her life, marriage, career, single parenting and many other things. Talking about the same, she even talked about suffering from postpartum depression. Charu shared that after Zianna's birth, she developed several health issues, and moreover, she was also not able to feed her daughter as she was not lactating. The actress also revealed that people would question her for not being able to feed her daughter and it took a toll on her mental health. Calling motherhood an overwhelming experience, Charu said:
"I got a spinal headache. I wasn't able to feed her because I wasn't getting breast milk. Others would tell me it weakens the baby. My spinal headache got better but the breast milk wasn't coming and it stressed me out. I had to start baby formula for Ziana. People would question me for it. But after a week, when the milk started coming, it wasn't enough. I had pain, there was soreness. It was a difficult time. It led to depression. Motherhood is a little isolating but then when your child is with you, all the pain goes away."

In the same session, Charu also opened up about handling stress and anxiety as a single parent. Talking about the same, the actress mentioned that she has many responsibilities on her shoulder as she is a single parent to her daughter, Zianna. She also stated that being a working mother, she has to balance her professional and personal life. Charu also talked about how she misses her baby girl, Zianna and keeps worrying about her when she is on the sets of her show. Elaborating more about it, the actress said:
"I am a single parent and a working mother. I have a daughter so I have her responsibility as well. I have to manage my professional life along with my personal life. Time management is on me. The only negative thing with me is that when I go to work, I keep worrying about Ziana and that is why I have got cameras installed at home and taken precautions. I call her on the sets at lunch. There's a homely environment on sets as well. I can feed her in my make-up room and make her sleep there. Ziana is my biggest stressbuster. I see her face and forget all the stress and anxiety."
For the uninitiated, Charu got married to Sushmita Sen's brother, Rajeev Sen on June 7, 2019, and the duo welcomed their baby girl, Zianna on November 1, 2020. However, in 2022, Charu and Rajeev decided to part ways. Earlier, in an interview with the Times of India, the actress had opened up about whether she is considering revoking her separation from her estranged husband, Rajeev and revealed that her divorce is due in June 2023. She also talked about people trolling her marriage and stated she and her daughter will always be part of the Sen family, irrespective of her separation from Rajeev.
