Charu Asopa Reveals Feeling 'Lost' And 'Lonely', Expresses Concerns About Safety, 'I No Longer...'

Charu Asopa is a popular actress in the Hindi TV industry. However, in recent times, Charu’s personal life garnered significant attention. For the unversed, Charu was married to Rajeev Sen, brother of Sushmita Sen. Later, the couple’s divorce was finalised in 2023. The duo shares a daughter named Ziana. Besides being an actress, Charu has a YouTube channel, where she documents her daily life. In a recent vlog, the Devon Ke Dev… Mahadev actress revealed feeling lost and lonely in Bikaner.

Charu Asopa shares safety concerns about her and her daughter, Ziana

Currently, Charu Asopa is living in her hometown, Bikaner, with her daughter, Ziana. They also celebrated their first Lohri there. However, in her recent vlog, the Baalveer actress expressed her feelings about being lost and lonely when her daughter, Ziana, goes to school. She revealed that there have been safety concerns about her and Ziana, and thus, she no longer feels comfortable sharing too much about her personal life. She mentioned that Bikaner was a new place and things were far different in Mumbai. She was quoted as saying:

"I feel so lonely after Ziana goes to school. It's very lonely here. My house help also left, and I don't know, I've been feeling lost and lonely for a while. I no longer feel like I can share too much about my personal life or show my house because it's concerning my and Ziana's safety. People want to see a lot more of my personal life, but I don't think that's possible. It's a new place, and it's not like it used to be when we were in Mumbai. There, we used to live in a building, and there were thousands of people, but here it's not like that."

Charu Asopa opens up about her work pressure

In the same vlog, Charu Asopa opened up about her work pressure. The TV actress revealed that she remains busy the whole day. She mentioned that it’s not easy. She added that when the day ends, and she goes to sleep, every single bone in her body aches a lot. She was quoted as saying:

"The whole day there's so much work to do, and I've been keeping so busy. It's not easy. When I go to sleep, every single bone in my body hurts a lot."

When Charu Asopa opened up about shifting her base from Mumbai to Bikaner

Earlier, in 2025, Charu made headlines after reports said that she had shifted from Mumbai to her hometown, Bikaner, with her daughter, Ziana. Speaking to Hindustan Times, Charu confirmed the news and also explained why she decided to shift to Bikaner. She mentioned that living in Mumbai was not easy. The monthly living cost was upto Rs. 1 lakh to Rs. 1.5 lakh. She added that Bikaner, Rajasthan, is her hometown, where she has been living with her parents and her daugher, Ziana. She was quoted as saying:

"I have shifted to my hometown, Bikaner, Rajasthan. I have left Mumbai for now, and I am currently living with my parents. It's been more than a month since Ziana and I moved here. Living in Mumbai is not easy; it costs money. For me, the monthly living cost came up to Rs. 1 lakh -1.5 lakh, including the rent and everything, which was not easy. Furthermore, I would rather not leave Ziana alone with a nanny when I am shooting in Naigaon (Mumbai). It used to get extremely difficult. Moving back home and starting my own thing was completely planned; it wasn't a rushed decision."
