Television actress, Charu Asopa has been living with her daughter, Zianna and glimpses of the same are filled on her social media handles. She is doing everything possible to take the best care of her little one amidst her marital dispute with her estranged husband, Rajeev Sen. For those who don't know, the estranged couple went through an on-and-off in their relationship before finally leading taking the drastic step of separating their ways. However, Charu is now facing issues for being a single mother and revealed the same.
In a recent interview with ETimes TV, Charu Asopa, who is all set to move to a 2BHK house from a 1BHk, opened up about an incident when she was refused a house in Mumbai for being a single mother. The Mere Angne Mein actress revealed that the process of finding a house isn't an easy one. Charu added that being a single mother, she has to go out in the scorching sun every day to find a suitable one. She said:
"From finding a house to shifting in Mumbai, it's not easy. I have been looking for houses and it's so hot. Every day I had been going out and looking for a house. It was very hectic. There are two things, first, you are an actor and then a single mother. That's also a problem. If in Mumbai, actors don't find a house, then where else will they get it?"

In the same conversation, Charu revealed that after she liked one in Mumbai, she was refused. Elaborating more on that, the actress shared that she was refused after the people learned that she would live alone with her 15-month-old daughter. She shared:
"I have faced it as a single mother. I liked one flat, they were very conservative. They learnt that I am a single mother and would be living alone with my daughter. I got to know it was bothering them."
Further, Charu, who has been living in one BHK so far, spoke about the need to go through such a difficult journey of finding a bigger house in Mumbai. She shared that since her daughter, Ziana is growing up, the little one needs a proper space to walk without getting hurt. Thus, a dedicated room for Ziana's play area is needed. Charu added:
"This one's a very small house. I am staying in a one BHK. Earlier, I thought it was perfect for me and Ziana. But now I feel Ziana has started walking. She runs without seeing anything and she can get hurt. I am not shifting to a very big house but it's at least 2 BHK where there's a room that can be dedicated to her play."

Charu Asopa's daughter, Zianna Sen, also never fails to win hearts with her cuteness. For Chaitra Navratri's kanjak puja, the little girl turned Durga Maa and her mom, Charu had shared adorable glimpses of them. On March 29, 2023, Charu took to her IG handle to share photos of her daughter, Zianna's kanjak look. Ziana wore a beautiful Gujarati lehenga chol, with mirror embellishments and pom-pom tassels on the hem. She looked adorable with two ponytails and a red rose. Charu also looked gorgeous, donning a red and orange leheriya saree.
On the work front, Charu has made her comeback to acting and is currently shooting for her new show, Johri.
