Charu Asopa is one of the most popular faces in the Indian television diaspora. The diva is known for her beauty and charming personality, along with being a part of some of the most popular daily soap operas, such as Mere Angne Mein, Jiji Maa, Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and so many others. Unfortunately, in recent years, Charu has grabbed a lot of limelight, due to her personal life. Her divorce from her ex-husband, Rajeev Sen was publicly discussed, leading to a war of nasty allegations. However, it was on June 8, 2023, when the duo announced their divorce. Moving forward in their lives, the ex-couple decided to co-parent their daughter, Ziana.
Taking to her IG handle, Charu Asopa dropped some heart-warming glimpses of her Ganpati celebrations this year, along with her little one, Ziana. In the glimpses, Charu could be seen looking elegant in a red-hued saree that featured mirror-work, zari and other embellishments all over it. Donning a Marathi look, Charu wore a typical Marathi nath and tied her hair in a bun, adored with a gajra. Statement neckpiece and matching earrings, featuring red drop beads and kundan work accentuated her look.

However, it was her daughter, who stole the show with her cutesy looks. Ziana twinned with her mommy in a sleeveless red-hued bandhani-printed kurta, that had small golden beadwork in the front. She wore white dhoti-style pants and had her hair tied in a cute ponytail. The mommy-daughter duo looked amazing together, as they sat right in front of the puja mandap, which was decorated with kites and fresh flowers.
Moreover, we also stumbled upon some other glimpses of Charu Asopa’s Ganpati celebrations, where we spotted her ex-husband, Rajeev Sen making an appearance. Decked in a casual grey-hued T-shirt teamed with white shorts, Rajeev seemed to be spending some quality time with her daughter, as the latter played with him. The trio’s picture together simply revealed the manner in which the ex-couple are now coordinating with one another to raise their daughter well.
In a previous interview with Pinkvilla, Charu Asopa spoke up about discussing her split with Rajeev Sen publicly. She mentioned that she talked about her and Rajeev's disputes only after her character got maligned publicly. Elaborating more, Charu had said:
"I never wanted to do this but back-to-back 'mujh par laanchchan lagaaye ja rahe the,' 'jhooth bola ja raha tha'. I had no other choice but to speak out in public. I stay with my daughter and when people are talking something about me, she'll read them when she grows up. After that too, people didn't stop, they kept speaking ill but I said whatever I thought was necessary for everyone to know."
