The S.I.T. co-founder recently took to Instagram shared her thoughts upon answering meaningless pregnancy questions. Sharing the same, she wrote, “Perception and mindset: I'm humbled by the comments that I receive on my blogposts and in real life when I meet people. A lot of you feel inspired, a lot of you like the way I dress, many of you ask me for make-up and hair tips and some of you ask me my fitness regime. But the questions that leave me baffled are the ones that raise eyebrows on the kind of clothes I wear."
Chhavi Mittal’s post could be further read as, “What I often hear (especially in person) are things like: "How can you wear such tight clothes, aren't you uncomfortable? You're pregnant" My God you're so dressed up for work, even in pregnancy!""Arre pregnant ho, kucch bhi pehno chalega" And my favourite .."You're getting too big now, maybe start hiding the stomach a bit.." I say LOL!! Why should I compromise on my dressing style just because I'm pregnant? It's the MOST beautiful phase of my life, and I'd like to look as beautiful as I feel during this time! And yes, I'm a PROUD big pregnant woman and I'm not afraid or ashamed to flaunt it! Coz let's face it, it's not gonna last forever!” Kudos lady!

On March 20, 2019, Chhavi Mittal had shared about her fondness for water. She had written, “I am a complete water baby and now that the weather permits, I have started swimming again. I can swim non stop in circles for an hour tirelessly, and I was thrilled to find out that the same stamina backed me up even in my 8th month and after a haitus of months of hitting the pool again. But on the eve of the festival of colours, I couldn't help but reminisce... One of the Holis gone by, the swimming pool which has a capacity of roughly about 10 thousand gallons of water, was ruined with color. Eventually we had to throw out the entire water and fill it up again with fresh water. Not to mention the non stop rain showers where so much more water was going down the drains.
Chhavi Mittal’s thoughtful post can be further read as, “My heart bled to see so much water being thrown away when there is serious dearth of this basic necessity all around us. I'm all for cerebration and fun, and genuinely feel that Holi is a festival that brings communities together and fills the atmosphere with love. It is so important to teach our kids love and sharing and playing with everyone. But as a second time to-be-mom I can't help but feel, wouldn't it be great if we also taught our kids the importance of conservation of natural resources, and the value of invaluable water? Let's all be wise and aim to be not just responsible parents and responsible citizens but also be responsible human beings. If you agree with my cause, please share this post to spread awareness#happyholi #savewater #savewaterthisholi.”
Chhavi Mittal is due in May 2019 and in an exclusive chat with us, she shared some invaluable thoughts about parenting and stated, “Well, parenting is not something that is planned. You have to be very open, flexible as a parent, you cannot be rigid that is one thing I have learnt as a parent to my first child. One thing that Mohit and I both agree with is that we should let our kids be as close to nature as possible and as away from the plastic thing and the digital things, malls and play areas and fancy things. And we would like to at least try to make our kid as grounded as possible."
Chhavi Mittal had also shared some sigh-off advice for all pregnant mommies, “My only advice is that just stay happy, try to eat right. Don't eat junk because whatever you are eating, your child is getting nutrition from that. So, just be happy, try to be just as active in your daily chores if you cannot workout for your and baby's health and try to eat as healthy as possible."
