Chhavi Mittal had revealed that she had resumed work post son, Arham Hussein’s birth and how the little one had remained calm during his mom’s discussions, story narrations, meetings. Chhavi had captioned her post as, “Little Arham and I resumed office this Thursday. It's a place that he's spent most of his time at while he was in my tummy.. no wonder he was so calm in the midst of discussions, story narrations, meetings. Little entrepreneur in the making completely at home in office! Oh btw, mommies, don't rush to get back to work after the baby, I'm taking it real slow, with just a few hours at the moment at the time of mine and Arham's convenience. Besides I have created my office extremely comfortable for us. Incidentally, I also feel the most at home in office! #workmode #likemotherlikeson #motherson #son #baby #babyboy #boy #office #work #workoholic”.
Just a while back, Chhavi Mittal updated her fans about her shoot diaries from the sets of Shitty Ideas Trending. With an all-smiles picture alongside her co-star, Karan V Grover, Chhavi wrote, “This post comes out from the sets of @shittyideastrending since I resumed shooting today! Back with @karanvgrover BTW, It's the first time there's a baby on our sets! #shooting #baby #arham #chhavimittal #mom #actor”. A few days back, Chhavi Mittal had penned down a post about training her newborn son, Arham Hussein with a regulated routine and sleep train him. The sleep-deprived mommy wrote, “For the last week or so I've been trying to sleep train Arham. Trying for him to understand the difference between night and day.. day time is for playing and eating, night time is for sleeping and growing! Regulated feed timings, regulated nap timings, maintaining a log to understand his requirements better etc. But when is a good time to give in, or give up? When he wails at an odd time (during a nap or worse, in the night) you go to him to see what caused it, and find a baby with a BIG gummy smile across his face! There goes all your resolve to make him sleep and to get some sleep yourself! Yours truly, Severely sleep derived mommy #sleepdeprived #mom #mommy #mother#motherhood #chhavimittal #arham #baby #sleeptraining #nightfeeds”.

From post-pregnancy weight issues, the importance of breastfeeding or postpartum depression, Chhavi Mittal has been trying to break the myths. Writing a powerful note for all new daddies, advising them on how to deal and behave with mothers suffering from postpartum depression, Chhavi had written, "Dear husbands/new fathers, Congratulations on being a father! You must be going through sleepless nights, diaper changes, crying interpretations & you must be all over the place trying to understand what's best & what's not for your LO. But please also take a minute to understand your better half's needs. Some of you already must be! For the others, did you know postpartum depression is more common than you think? Mothers suffer from it and don't even know it sometimes. But you, as a partner, can do more to help her than you can imagine. In fact, you can even save her from it completely if you intervene at the right time. When suffering from PPD, a mother could feel like crying all the time, unhappy, guilty for not being joyful, complaining, frustrated, dejected, feel like a failure, & feel as though this is the end of life as she knows it.”
Chhavi Mittal’s post could be further read as, “What you SHOULDN'T do or say? "You're not the only one who's become a mother" "Try to be happy" "The LO needs you" "I'm doing everything I can" "You're being selfish" "Don't cry, it'll affect the milk" What you CAN say though? "I love you" "You're doing very well" "Tell me how I can help" "We're a team" And remember to CALL her from work just to check on her! Trust me, a few calming words can go such a long way! And if you see her crying, don't try to solve her problem, just hug her tight and agree with whatever she says.. tell her again that you love her.. tell her she's beautiful.. tell her you're lucky to have her... And dear dads, although you're overworked & overwhelmed too, trust me, this will pass sooner than you know... And you'll have a settled baby, if you have a settled mother. Love & peace from me to you! #mythoughts #postpartumdepression." (Also Read: Mahie Gill Of 'Dev.D' Fame Reveals She Is Mother To A Three-Year-Old Daughter But Is Not Married Yet)
