He shared that both mother and baby were doing well and opened up about how special the moment felt for him. The situation became even more difficult when their luggage was not returned. Their bags had important items, including the baby’s car seat. Without it, leaving the airport safely was not possible. When someone online suggested they could just collect the bags the next day, on March 31, 2026, Canty made it clear that was not realistic with a newborn.

The delay alone was exhausting, but the luggage problem added another layer. Canty explained that travelling with a newborn is already challenging. Not having access to essentials made it worse. The car seat being checked in meant they could not simply leave and figure things out later. He responded to a user and explained that picking up luggage the next day does not work when you have a baby and need everything immediately.

After going back and forth with the airline online, things finally moved. Canty later shared a short update that the situation was resolved and his family made it home safely. He also hinted that the delay took a toll on the entire family, especially with such a young baby in their arms. The long wait and confusion made the whole experience more draining than expected. “I got my luggage and I’m back home so…. There’s that,” he wrote, showing relief after a long day.
