Amid Astronomer CEO Andy Byron, HR Head, Kristin Cabot Scandal, Chris Martin Asks Couple 'Are You..'

Chris Martin, the iconic frontman of Coldplay, who has led the band since 1997, is renowned for his soulful voice and heartfelt anthems, such as Fix You and Yellow. One of the best performers in the current music scene, he has been repeatedly praised for his impressive live vocals. He makes Coldplay's concerts an unforgettable experience for his fans. However, with a recent scandal that broke at one of their concerts, he is now navigating Kiss-Cam territory with extra caution. Chris Martin is now pausing the music to ensure no repeat K-Cam embarrassments happen.

Chris Martin's kiss-cam caution now extends to more couples

During Coldplay's Boston gig at Gillette Stadium, July 16, 2025, Chris Martin unintentionally exposed Astronomer CEO, Andy Byron and his company's HR Head, Kristin Cabot, having an extramarital affair, and this has already triggered chaos online. To avoid deja vu and still traumatised by the events that had unfolded previously, Chris was seen stopping mid-song to question a new couple that came onscreen. He could he heard in the video asking:

"OK, listen, are you two a couple? Are you two a legitimate couple?"

Chris's question left the crowd laughing, but the singer was adamant about knowing. Amid laughter, he even checked if they were able to comprehend English and repeated himself in Spanish. Once the couple reaffirmed their commitment, he returned to the show. The clip has already been circulating on social media platforms. He could he heard saying:

"Do you understand English? Hablas Español?”

The reason for Chris's caution and repeated need for reaffirmation was the earlier Kiss Cam that ended up in a global scandal. In Coldplay's Boston concert, the Kiss-Cam fell on Astronomer CEO, Andy Byron and his company's HR head, Kristin Cabot. The minute the camera landed on them, they awkwardly ducked and started hiding.

The video soon went viral, and people began recognising them. It was discovered that the two were having an extramarital affair. Andy is married to a woman named Megan Kerrigan, while new reports suggest that Kristin also has a husband, who is a popular CEO himself, his name is reportedly Andrew Cabot, and he is the CEO and COO of Privateer Rum. Confirmation on the is yet to be given but social media has been mercilessly trolling the two for their actions.
