Chris North and Sarah Jessica Parker were once best friends after they shot Sex And The City. However, their friendship got severely affected after Sarah responded to the multiple se**** as***lt allegations which were levelled against him in 2021. The 71-year-old star appeared on a podcast and clarified that Sara didn't even bother to reach out to him before issuing public statements against him.
Recently, Chris North appeared on the podcast, Really Famous With Kara Mayer Robinson. He revealed that Sarah Jessica Parker never tried reaching out to him before sharing a public statement in support of his accusers. For those who don't know, Chris North faced legal trouble in 2021, when three women accused him of se***l as***lt, while he denied the unethical charges against him. North, hinting at that hurtful statement by his co-star and once-friend, stated that it was disappointing, and it is pretty obvious that they are no longer friends.

Chris stated that the statement issued by Sarah Jessica Parker and other actors was nothing but a brand management strategy. However, for him, it was disappointing and surprising. He stated that they should have called him to hear his side of the story, as they have known him for so long. He was quoted as saying:
"The statement that they put out — which was nothing more than brand management, really — I don’t know, it was sad, it was disappointing, it was surprising. Because you need to call me and hear my side of this. You’ve known me for many years, and we’ve worked [together] for many years."

For the unversed, Chris and Sarah appeared together in six seasons of Sex And The City, as well as the two follow-up movies. He was even part of the sequel series, And Just Like That, released in 2021, but his character was killed in the series premiere. Chris further stated that he understands why Sarah put up the statement, but she should have given him a call. As per Chris, the situation showed him who his real friends are in the industry. However, if it were Sarah in his shoes, he would have definitely called her back. He said:
"And I get it, that’s more Hollywood than Hollywood. But before you make that statement, you know me, you’ve known me all these years, give me a call so I can give you the real scoop about this. And that didn’t happen, and that was too bad. I just know if it had been on the other hand, I wouldn’t have done that."

The statement which Chris is referring to was a joint note by Sarah Jessica Parker and their fellow Sex And The City stars, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, as they sided with the accusers. They clearly stated that they were with the women who accused Chris North. Their statement could be read as:
