Chuck Negron, who was the founder of the band, Three Dog Night, passed away on February 2, 2026, at the age of 83. His fans are heartbroken after the news of his sudden demise. As per his publicist, Zach Farnum, Chuck Negron died due to heart failure and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease at his home in Studio City, Los Angeles. While Chuck's professional journey is famous across world, let's know more about his personal life and his fourth wife.
Chuck Negron has been married four times. He was first married to Paula Louise Ann Goetten in 1970. The ex-couple was blessed with a daughter named Shaunti Negron-Levick. However, they parted ways after three years in 1973. Then he gave love another chance and married Julia Densmore in 1976. The two welcomed a baby boy named Charles Negron III, and they were blessed with a daughter, Charlotte Rose Negron. The two divorced in 1985. Later, in 1993, Chuck married his third wife, Robin Silna, but their relationship ended in 2001. However, Chuck found his happily ever after with Ami Albea Negro, his fourth wife.

As per Ami Albea Negro's bio, she has been a professional nanny for over 20 years. She also has an associate's degree in early childhood education and teaching from the Los Angeles Valley College. Later, she joined Chuck Negron as his personal manager in 2012, when he was part of Three Dog Night, and she also became his road manager.

From 2013 to 2017, she also worked as his executive producer and project manager for the family album, Negron Generations, which stars Chuck Negron and his daughters, Charlotte and Annabelle. Ami also worked as the branding specialist for Just Imagine: The Show, and social media and marketing manager for The Standells' Larry Tamblyn.

Chuck Negron and Ami Albeo Negro got married on May 9, 2020, during the pandemic. Due to the pandemic lockdown restrictions, it was held in a California home. While the details of their love story are not publicly known, it is clear they fell in love while working together. Talking about their age gap, Chuck Negron was born on June 8, 1942. He was 83 years old at the time of his death. Talking about his fourth wife, Ami Albeo Negro's birth date is not publicly known. But in 2023, she celebrated her 50th birthday with her husband, Chuck Negron. So, as of 2026, she is 52 years old. So, the two share an age gap of 31 years.

Chuck Negron was born on June 8, 1942, to Charles Negron, who was a Puerto Rican nightclub singer, and his wife, Elizabeth Rooke. At the age of five, his parents got divorced, and he and his twin sister, Nancy, were sent to a daycare facility in the Bronx while their parents worked to support them. It was during the growing-up phase that he developed a love for music and basketball. He would sing in local doo-wop groups and play basketball.

Chuck Negron's musical career began in his teens with the formation of The Rondells, a doo-wop group, and he performed at the legendary Apollo Theatre. He even got a basketball scholarship from Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria, California. Later, he studied at California State University, Los Angeles. Despite being an amazing athlete, his love for music won out, and he started working towards his passion. He met fellow singers Cory Wells and Danny Hutton, and together they formed the band Three Dog Night. It became one of the successful American rock groups between the 1960s and early 1970s.
