Chunky Panday And Bhavana Pandey Recall Their First Meeting In NightClub, He Says 'Meri Toh Life...'

Chunky Panday and his wife, Bhavana Pandey, have been married for more than 25 years now. Despite keeping their marriage low-key for years, Bhavana's stint in the show, Fabulous Lives With Bollywood Wives gave audiences an inside glimpse into their admirable bond. However, fans have always been curious to know how the two met and fell in love with one another. In a recent interview, Chunky Panday and Bhavana Pandey ended the fan's curiosity and revealed their love story. 

Bhavana Pandey reveals she first met Chunky Panday at a nightclub 

Chunky Panday recently sat down for an interview with Mashable India. During one of the shows, his wife, Bhavana Pandey, joined the actor, and they opened up about how they first met and fell in love. She revealed that she first saw Chunky at a nightclub. However, since the light was low at the place, she couldn't properly see or form an impression of him. Bhavana elaborated that the nightclub was in Delhi, and she took a break while studying for the final exam. Chunky, known for his impressive sense of humour poked fun and added: 

“Studies se break lene ke liye nightclub kaun jaata hai?”

Chunky added that he had found Bhavana gorgeous since their first meeting in 1996. However, their first meeting didn't lead to anything significant, as she left after giving him the wrong phone number. Although, the two lost touch after that meeting, destiny had another plan for them. After a year, Bhavana began working with Lufthansa Airlines and visited Mumbai with some of her friends. They wanted to see a film set that prompted the Fabulous Lives With Bollywood Wives star to reach out to Chunky. In turn, he explained that he was going through a rough patch in his career and got less work, but fortunately, he was shooting on that day, and they met where he found she changed her look with blonde hair and wore contact lenses, but still looked beautiful. 

Bhavana Pandey's father was hesitant about her marriage to Chunky 

After falling In love, the next step was convincing their parents. Chunky Panday revealed that he left the work of persuading Bhavana's parents to her. In turn, she explained that her parents didn't know much about the film world and were worried about her career. However, she had to stand up for her and Chunky before them. Bhavana recalled a fun incident and shared that when she and her father went to a relative's home to invite him, they had a fun reaction to her marrying the Liger actor. She said: 

“TV pe meri picture chal rahi thi Gopala. Unhone poocha, ‘Yeh hi hero hai?’”

Chunky Panday admits his life changed for the better after marrying Bhavana Panday

Chunky Panday and Bhavana Pandey bravely faced all the challenges and tied the knot in 1998 when Bhavana was just 22. After marriage, they welcomed two daughters, including actress, Ananya Panday and then Rysa Panday. Chunky, who was going through a difficult phase in his career, admitted that his life changed for the better after he married Bhavana. In his words: 

"Meri toh life badal gayi shaadi ke baad, for the positive. Mein ekdum lowest phase mein tha career-wise. India chhod ke Bangladesh mein kaam kar raha tha.”
