Tasie often shares snippets of her life on social media. In May 2025, she posted an emotional tribute to her father after his death, sharing a carousel of photos of the family with a heartfelt note that read:
"My Daddy was the most supportive, smiley Daddy, and he loved me, my mum and my sister deeply. I see his smile in my son and know he will live on forever."
Tasie Lawrence began acting at an extremely young age. She first starred on the British teen show, House of Anubis, which ran from 2011 to 2013 on Nickelodeon. She starred in all three seasons as 'Mara Jaffray'. While she has a BA in music, her passion for acting took her on a different route. Over the years, the actress has appeared in several shows and films, including The Resident, BET's First Wives Club and the 2021 film, DOMINO: Battle of the Bones, alongside Snoop Dogg.
Jim Jefferies and Tasie Lawrence first crossed paths in 2018 in Los Angeles. According to 7NEWS, the duo initially bonded over their mutual dislike of controversial British TV host, Piers Morgan. In a February 2017 episode of Real Time with Bill Maher, Jefferies told off Morgan, which ultimately became the moment that helped him win Tasie over. In a conversation with 7NEWS, Jim was quoted as saying:
"My wife hates Piers Morgan, and when she found out I was the guy who told Piers Morgan to 'F--- off,' she was 10 times more attracted to me. That is the whole reason she fancies me to this day."
It was during the COVID-19 pandemic that Jim Jefferies and Tasie Lawrence got married. The couple eloped at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas. However, it was not a random chapel. According to Jim, it was the same chapel where 'Ross' and 'Rachel' got married. He called it the best 60 bucks he ever spent. On the other hand, Tasie announced the special news with several pictures of their wedding.
Tasie Lawrence and Jim Jefferies welcomed their son in 2021. The cutest addition to their family, Charlie, completed their happy home. On their first anniversary, Tasie shared a touching tribute to the comedian on Instagram, praising him for his commitment to being a great dad. The caption read:
"Happy Anniversary to the best husband and father out there. One of the reasons I fell in love with you was because you were such a wonderful Dad to your firstborn, so it was a no-brainer to have little Charlie with the best Dad there is."
When it comes to their professional careers, both Jim and Tasie are each other's biggest supporters and critics. Tasie often shows her support for Jim by sharing his work on her social media. Jim occasionally draws on his life with her and their son in his material, which is fine by her. However, she was slightly bothered when he joked about her looking like E.T. while pregnant. Nonetheless, the duo are always able to mend things and love each other.
