In an interview with the Mid-Day, Jaaved Jaaferi revealed the one crucial advice from his late father and legendary comedian, Jagdeep Jaaferi that has played a massive role in his success in the industry. The actor told that his father had advised him not to cross some lines, no matter what. He said, "My father taught us that there are certain subjects where you can't cross the line. For instance, one shouldn't touch on religion when making jokes. So, I keep these things in mind. As an actor, I am not responsible for what is written [in the script], but I can refuse to do it if it doesn't match my sensibility. Coolie No 1 is a family entertainer that doesn't cross the line." Jagdeep

The advice from late comedian, Jagdeep Jaaferi sahab is indeed a valuable one for all the budding actors and comedians, and it tells us a lot about the kind of person he was. For the uninitiated, the iconic actor had married three times in his life and had six children. Jagdeep Jaaferi had married for the first time to Naseem Begam, with whom the actor had three children, Hussain Jaaferi, Suraiya Jaaferi, and Shakira Shafi. After which, he had married to Sughra Begam with whom he had two talented sons named, Jaaved Jaaferi and Naved Jaaferi. And, his third marriage was with Najima, who was 33 years younger than him and with whom he had embraced parenthood for the sixth time when they had welcomed a baby girl, whom they had named, Muskan.

Javeed Jaaferi was extremely close to his father, Jagdeep Jaaferi, and we had witnessed a lot of glimpses of the same in his various interviews. For instance, once in a throwback interview with Zoom, Jaaved had revealed the things his father had passed on to him. He had said, "Look at a film like Do Bigha Zamin, look at him as a shoeshine boy, look at Aar Paar. And you see that this kid is crying real, there is no glycerine, which is another amazing thing about him, he can cry. As a child, he is crying real tears with the scene. So, for me, that was amazing. And then he passed it on to me, to us. And for me, that was important. That stayed with me, and those values still uphold."
