Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez are one of the most popular couples in the sports world, often grabbing the limelight. On August 11, 2025, after nearly a decade of dating, Georgina announced her engagement to the former Real Madrid star with an Instagram post showcasing a massive oval-cut diamond ring. The size and sparkle of the ring leave little doubt that it could be among the most expensive celebrity engagement rings ever. But equally, if not more, jaw-dropping is the couple’s reported breakup pact. Here’s how much the football legend’s fiancée is set to receive if they ever split.
According to Portugal’s TV GUIA magazine, Ronaldo and Georgina signed an arrangement that ensures that the latter would enjoy lifelong financial stability in case they split up. The agreement is designed to protect Ronaldo’s enormous fortune while ensuring the luxury of the mother of his five children.
If they ever break up, Georgina Rodriguez would reportedly receive a lifetime monthly pension exceeding USD 114,000, along with ownership of one of Ronaldo’s most prestigious properties, his multi-million-euro La Finca mansion.
The property in question is no ordinary home but one of the most luxurious mansions in Madrid’s exclusive La Finca district. The mansion, spanning 950 square meters, is set on a 4,000-square-meter estate which Ronaldo reportedly purchased in 2010 for EUR 5 million (USD 5.64 million). If the couple ever splits up, the whopping property would be Georgina’s.
But when did Ronaldo and Rodriguez make a breakup pact? Well, it’s believed to have been set up not long after the birth of their first child together, Alana Martina, in 2017. Since then, the couple have welcomed another daughter, Bella, in 2022. They have also raised Ronaldo’s older children, Cristiano Jr and twins Eva and Mateo, together.

While the financial stakes for breaking up with Georgina are high, it’s expected, given Ronaldo’s enormous fortune. The 39-year-old former Madrid player, globally renowned as one of the greatest players of all time, reportedly has a net worth of around 671 million US dollars. He gets another USD 230 million as annual earnings for his Saudi Arabian club, Al-Nassr, in addition to millions from his sponsorships and business ventures. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Cristiano Ronaldo’s career earnings have crossed the USD 1 billion milestone.
After a history of tabloid-grabbing relationships and breakups, Cristiano Ronaldo found his love in 2016, when he was at a Gucci store in Madrid. He met Georgina, who was working as a sales assistant at the store. It didn’t take long for their romance to blossom, with Ronaldo picking her up in luxury cars after work. They maintained a low-key relationship before going public in 2017.
Since then, Cristiano and Georgina have built a world of their own, with a family of five children. In 2022, the couple endured the devastating loss of their son and Bella’s twin. Today, they are one of the most high-profile couples in the sports world. Now, with wedding bells seemingly around the corner, their love story is all set for a new chapter.
