Dalljiet Kaur Breaks Silence On First Husband Shalin Bhanot's ABSENCE From Son's Life, 'He Vanished'

Dalljiet Kaur has been through a lot of testing times. However, her world crumbled when her second marriage to Nikhil Patel fell apart. She returned to India in the hope that her second husband would make things okay, but she got the shock of her life, after he refused to accept their marriage and called it a cultural event. Amidst it, Dalljiet's first husband, Shalin's absence from their son, Jaydon's life, was extremely shocking for the actress.

Dalljiet Kaur opened up about how Shalin disappeared from their son, Jaydon's life

Recently, in an interview with Free Press Journal, Dalljiet Kaur revealed that she always respected Jaydon's presence in his life. She added that she never imposed any restriction on their meetings. She even encouraged Shalin to meet her second husband before their wedding. However, she got the shock of her life when Shalin disappeared from Jaydon's life. She said:

"One moment you’re there, the next you just vanish. That’s exactly what happened, and it was shocking. For me, it was always about what’s best for Jaydon. When the time came to redeem himself, he disappeared, not from me, but from his child. Jaydon looked for him in that void, no child should ever go through that."

Dalljiet revealed that after their divorce, she never stopped Shalin from seeing Jaydon. However, she never initiated talking with Shalin, but always encouraged him when he himself expressed the wish to see their son. Dalljiet stated that it is going to be a big void in Jaydon's life as Shalin disappeared after nine years. She said:

"Jaydon deserved his father. I gave Shalin that respect. After nine years, he vanished. That void is something Jaydon now has to live with."

Last year, in a conversation with Telly Masala, Shalin was quizzed about the ongoing 'headlines' surrounding him and whether he had read them. Shalin was quick to deny this, stating that he had not read anything. In his own unique way, Shalin tried dodging the question and said:

"Maine school mein padhai nahi kari toh ab Kya padhunga main. Main toh sirf apni script padhta hoon. Abhi bhi padh raha hoon, Bahut interesting hai. Main google Nai karta, Kya karu main? Main janta hoon apne barey mein, mere mummy papa jaante hai. So, nahi, main nahi padhta yaar, I don’t do, main khush rehta hoon."

Earlier, one of Dalljiet's fans took to her Instagram post, and asked her about connecting with her first husband, Shalin. However, to everyone's surprise, Dalljiet revealed that he had not connected with her. She also added that Shalin seemed disinterested in knowing what happened with his son, Jaydon. She stated that he must be too busy to care about them. Here is what Dalljiet wrote:

"He has not messaged or reached out. I don’t think he is interested to know what must have happened with his son. He must be too busy."
