Television actress, Dalljiet Kaur made us believe in the chances of happily ever after again when she got married to Kenya-based businessman Nikhil Patel. However, in February 2024, reports of her separation from Nikhil made headlines. While Dalljiet chose not to address the murmurs, she deleted all her wedding pictures. The actress' team also shared that she is back in India with her son, Jaydon for her parents' surgeries. Now, we stumbled upon a picture, wherein Dalljiet was seen flaunting sindoor.

On May 9, 2024, Dalljiet took to her Instagram stories, and posted a picture of herself. The actress was donning a strappy floral top and was relaxing on the bed with her wet hair. She was also holding a book and wrote "Padhaku mode on," atop it. However, the highlight of the picture was Dalljiet flaunting sindoor with subtle makeup. This picture came as a shock as Dalljiet removed her mangalsutra after rumors of her separation made rounds on the internet. We wonder if it is a silent confirmation from Dalljiet's side that everything is okay in her marital life.

Dalljiet Kaur ditched mangalsutra and sindoor as she made her first appearance amidst divorce speculations 

On March 5, 2024, Dalljiet Kaur took to her Instagram stories and shared her first picture amidst divorce speculations. In the picture, we could see Dalljiet donning a white-hued saree with polka dots. She teamed it with a bralette-style blouse. Her look was accentuated with a chunky oxidised necklace with matching years. Subtle makeup, a black bindi, and hair left open completed her look. Atop it, Dalljiet showed off her puffy eyes on stage. She wrote:

"Back on stage with puffy eyes."

For the unversed, Dalljiet shifted to Kenya after getting married to Nikhil in a grand wedding ceremony, followed by a grand reception. According to a report by ETimes, Dalljiet and Nikhil were not happy for a long time. The report claimed that the estranged couple started facing trouble soon after their marriage and they realised that they were 'incompatible'. The insider told the news outlet that if they failed to sort out their differences, separation would be the only option. 

The insider further claimed that the situation between them had worsened in the last two months. The source was quoted as saying:

"Initially, everything seemed fine in their marriage, but it was short-lived. Problems cropped up between the couple soon after. Dalljiet and Nikhil realised they were incompatible. The situation worsened in the last two months. If problems persist, separation might be the only option."
