Dalljiet Kaur's Parents Got To Know About Her Ugly First Marriage At 'Godhbharai': 'Mujhe Sikhaya..'

Dalljiet Kaur has been through the worst phase of her life. While she is one of the most popular actresses, and she even took part in Bigg Boss, her personal life has been filled with a lot of struggles. Dalljiet Kaur was earlier married to Shalin Bhanot, which ended on an ugly note as she filed a domestic violence case against him and his family. Now, the actress talked for the first time about her parents learning about it during her godhbharai ceremony. 

Dalljiet revealed her parents found out about her difficult first marriage with Shalin at her godhbharai

Recently, Dalljiet sat for a heart-to-heart conversation with Vickey Lalwani's YouTube channel. During the interview, Dalljiet was questioned about her parents finding out about her going through difficulty she faced in her first marriage with Shalin Bhanot. She shared that in her first marriage, she was young and was told to stay quiet and keep everything under wraps. Dalljiet said:

"In my first marriage, I was told, I was very young also, I was told, 'Ek Chup, 100 sukh'. I was very young I was told to keep it all under wraps. I was very naive, it went on for years."

Dalljiet further added that her parents found out about her ugly marriage with Shalin Bhanot during her godhbharai ceremony. She shared that a lot of things unfolded after it. She said: 

"My parents actually came to know about it was my godhbharai. They were like 'Yeh ho kya raha hai.' And then a lot of things unfolded."

Dalljiet made sure to inform her family about her difficulties in her second marriage with Nikhil from the beginning 

Dalljiet Kaur added that during her second marriage with Nikhil Patel, she made sure to inform her parents of everything that was happening to her. She was in touch with her parents and sisters in India, which helped her decode what was happening to her.

Earlier, one of Dalljiet's fans took to her Instagram post, and asked her about connecting with her first husband, Shalin. However, to everyone's surprise, Dalljiet revealed that he had not connected with her. She also added that Shalin seems disinterested in knowing what happened with his son, Jaydon. She stated that he must be too busy to care about them. Here is what Dalljiet wrote:

"He has not messaged or reached out. I don’t think he is interested to know what must have happened with his son. He must be too busy."

For the unversed, Dalljiet, who had high hopes for her second marriage, was left broken after Nikhil denied their marriage being legal in Kenya. The actress, who had moved countries to settle down with Nikhil, was back in India in January 2024, leading to murmurs of her separation. While Dalljiet initially didn't utter a word about the sanctity of her marriage, she later accused Nikhil of having an extra-marital affair.
