Debina Bonnerjee Gets Hate For Not Asking In-Laws To Sit During Gurmeet's B'Day: 'Old Parents..'

Debina Bonnerjee is happily married to Gurmeet Choudhary and they are parents to two adorable baby girls, Lianna and Divisha. While Gurmeet is making his fans in awe with his acting in his recently released web series, Debina is making waves with her vlogging journey. However, in one of her latest vlogs, she received a lot of hate from her fans, who didn't like how she overlooked Gurmeet's parents.

In the latest vlog, Debina shared glimpses of her husband, Gurmeet's birthday celebration. The vlog started with Debina making her girls practice birthday songs for their daddy, and they looked adorable. Later, in the YouTube video, Gurmeet celebrated his birthday with his baby girls as he cut his birthday cake. The little princesses looked cute in tutu dresses.

Later in the vlog, we can see Debina giving a hug to Gurmeet as they began another birthday celebration. She called everyone into the frame. Gurmeet's parents stood next to him. While his father was hesitant, his mother kept pulling him closer. Gurmeet asked for a solo picture, but Debina kept sitting with him and teased him that he should click with family. Everyone laughed, but Gurmeet's mother's face had no expression.

During the entire celebration, Gurmeet's parents kept standing next to him. After cutting the cake, his mother said, "Jis maa ne isko janam diya usko koi mubarak nahi." After this, his friends wished her a 'Happy birthday', while Debina didn't pay any heed while Gurmeet was feeding her the first bite. When Gurmeet fed a bite of cake to his parents, someone from behind the camera said, 'Aashirwaad lelo', then he touched his parents' feet.

Soon, netizens reacted to the video, and the way Debina treated Gurmeet's parents. One user wrote, "Old parents are standing for the cake cutting and young healthy dominating Debina is sitting…. Respect karo yaar … Your daughters are watching you." A second user penned, "Debbina aap apni mummy ka papa ka to bahut achhe se khyal rakhti ho guru ke mummy ka papa ka bhi khayal usi tarh rakhe please."

Another one wrote, "She did not even bothered to listen to gurmeet's mother. Please stop treating these people as your idols." Another netizen commented, "guru ke maa bap ko bithana chahiye tha, pehla hakk unka tha."

Gurmeet and Debina's love story

Debina and Gurmeet secretly married in 2006, and later, in a grand wedding ceremony, they tied the knot again in 2011. Gurmeet and Debina also kept their marriage hidden from the family as the former was just nineteen years old, and legally, a boy should be 21 years of age to get married in India. Gurmeet added that they told them about their wedding after they completed Ramayan, and he had a Mercedes car with him.
