Bollywood actress, Deepika Padukone is known for her stellar acting and sartorial fashion sense. However, Deepika also often rules the headlines for her personal life. For the unversed, she is married to popular actor, Ranveer Singh. But before Deepika began her relationship with Ranveer, she allegedly dated several eminent names in the industry. Now, a renowned university's students mocked Deepika for her past relationships, and showed glimpses of her with her rumoured ex-boyfriends on the public platform. Soon, when a video from the same surfaced on the internet, Deepika's fans strongly reacted to it.
On November 8, 2023, an X (formerly known as Twitter) user took to his social media handle and shared a bizarre video of a small enactment by the BHU students during an event. The performance was based on Deepika Padukone's past relationships, which was quite distasteful. For the unversed, the actress was linked with many eminent names in the world, including Siddharth Mallya, Ranbir Kapoor, MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh and many others. However, taking it to the centre of discussion that too, on a public platform was quite disheartening.

The video began with a student of BHU dressed as Deepika's iconic character, 'Mastani' from her film, Bajirao Mastani, was seen playing a musical instrument just as shown in the movie. In the backdrop screen, a montage was shown, wherein various pictures of Deepika along with her alleged ex-boyfriends were put up. Not only that, the late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput in the role of 'MS Dhoni' was also played on the LED screen behind. Along with this, many other students were seen coming up along with the one dressed as 'Mastani', and in this way, they left no chance to character assassinate Deepika at the event.
As soon as the video surfaced on the internet, Deepika Padukone's fans reacted strongly towards it. While some slammed those who did such a horrible act on a public platform, many others also requested the actress to take some legal action against the college and the students who put up such an act. This was only because of her bitter past relationships. Talking about how she was never ready to be in a casual relationship, the actress said that even if she met other people, at the back of her head, she knew she was committed to Ranveer.
