And now, once again, something similar happened as the couple recreated the scene of the latter's film, Chennai Express.
August 8, 2023, marked the 10th anniversary of Rohit Shetty's directional film, Chennai Express. And to make the day even more special, Deepika Padukone dropped a cutesy throwback video with her darling hubby, Ranveer Singh on her Instagram handle. In the video, the lovebirds can be seen shelling out some major couple goals as they recreated a famous scene from the film. Undoubtedly, the much-in-love couple looked mesmerising and a match-made-in heaven. Along with the video, Deepika penned a short note, which can be read as:
"They say that comedy is the most difficult genre for an actor. So when I was offered 'Chennai Express', I knew I had a daunting challenge ahead of me. And while it took me a little while to find Meenama, a process that is extremely lonely and often times frightening, I'm grateful that we were able to create a character that is not only synonymous with the movie but also one that continues to receive an abundance of love till this date."

Soon after Deepika shared the video, her fans and friends from the industry flooded the comment section of the post. While one of the social media users wrote, "BAJIRAO and MEENAMMA", another one commented, "Beautiful jodi." One more internet user wrote, "Deepika plus Ranveer best jori in Bollywood Kaun Kaun agree kartee hooo????" Another comment can be read as, "Aweee you're both the cutesttt."
Earlier, on August 1, 2023, a video of Deepika Padukone went viral on Reddit. In the viral video, the actress was seen talking about her marriage with Ranveer Singh. Further, we could see Deepika giving a sweet response to the host when she asked how her parents, Prakash Padukone and Ujjala Padukone reacted when she told them about Ranveer. Answering the same, the diva revealed that she didn't say that he was the one. Deepika added that her parents were happy when she and Ranveer told them that they wanted to get married. In her words:
"Ek to maine yeh nahi kaha ki Ranveer Singh is the one. But I think jab maine mere parents ko kaha ki humdono shaadi karna chahte hai, they were obviously very very thrilled, they were happy."

Ranveer and Deepika often share lesser-known anecdotes about their lives. For instance, during a promotional event for his film, RARKPK, Ranveer talked about facing cultural and familial differences in his marriage with Deepika. Talking about the same, in a press conference, the actor revealed that their respective parents didn't understand their bond intially, especially his saasu maa. He added that with time, his bond with his mother-in-law has strengthened and they are closer now.
