Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are in seventh heaven, busy taking care of their little princess, Dua Padukone. Just like her unique name, she seems to be a fulfilled prayer in her parents' life. In a world where people celebrate the arrival of a boy, Deepika and Ranveer celebrated their princess' birth by hosting a grand meet and greet session for the paps. While they requested privacy for their daughter, Dua, they made sure to treat them like family, and they even introduced her to their baby.
Deepika and Ranveer hosted a small gathering for the media in their building. They even introduced their daughter, Dua, to the photographers and made it look like a family event. Not only this, Deepika and Ranveer requested photographers not to click photos of their daughter. A celebrity photographer, Yogen Shah, expressed in detail about the happiness of seeing Dua.
The photographer further revealed that Dua is a perfect blend of her parents, Deepika and Ranveer. When she greeted the pap, she was in half-sleep. However, there were moments when she fluttered open her tiny eyes. The photographer further revealed how it was an unforgettable experience to see Dua wrapped in her parents' embrace. His caption can be read as:
"Her adorable face is a perfect blend of her parents’ features, with a charm that immediately melts your heart. Though she was half-asleep, there were moments when her little eyes fluttered open, giving us a glimpse of her innocence and beauty. Watching Dua in the loving embrace of her parents was a truly unforgettable experience."
For the event, the newbie parents kept South Indian food for the media, giving an ode to Deepika's side of the tradition. Not only this, Deepika and Ranveer distributed special Sindhi mithai boxes to the photographers as a gesture of love. It was an ode towards Ranveer's Sindhi roots. The photographer concluded his note by writing:
"Ranveer Singh greeted us with such warmth and energy, making us feel right at home, while Deepika graciously handed us a box of sweets. To top it all, snacks from Ranveer’s favorite, Muttu Swamy, were thoughtfully arranged for us before we left."
For the bash, Deepika wore a nude-toned halter neck dress with ruffled detailing at the hem. She beautifully flaunted all her postpartum weight and didn't seem in a hurry to lose the extra kilos. Another highlight of the event is the backdrop — the pink, yellow and white carnations and rose flowers added to the beauty of the event. People started comparing Deepika and Ranveer's baby celebration with the paps with Ranbir and Alia. However, they had just called the paps, who gave them gifts and showed the photo of their daughter on their phone.
