Probably taking a cue from the making of the Taj Mahal (just kidding!), the soon-to-be-married couple has asked their chefs to create exotic dishes for their wedding, something which will never be repeated. Well, we have another latest update for you on the couple’s wedding venue. It must not be unknown to you that Deepika and Ranveer will have a Lake Como, Italy destination wedding. But hey, there’s a slight update on it. Yes, the couple is certainly getting married in Italy but the exact destination is Villa del Balbianello, an exotic villa overlooking Lake Como. That’s not all as there's more to it! If you are a Hollywood movie buff, you must have had multiple glimpses of the place as a wide array of famous Hollywood movies have been shot there namely, A Month by the Lake (1995), His Demise, Casino Royale (2006) and also Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones (2002). Bollywood’s Padmaavati too, is all excited for her wedding and can’t keep calm! In an interview with Rajdeep Sardesai on his show, India Today India Tomorrow she had shared, “I'm excited in the same way as I'm excited about signing my next film. Marriage is something that I've always looked forward to in my life, as would any other girl." Further speaking about her inspiration towards a happy marriage, the Happy New Year star stated, “I've seen my parents do it so well and so successfully and I think for me, that's the way I would like my married life to be as well. My parents have a beautiful relationship. The way they have managed their professional life as well as being together as a family. Remember how last month, grapevine was abuzz with the fact that Ranveer Singh has given the responsibility of picking a wedding date convenient to the couple, to none other than his beautiful muse, Deepika herself! Yes, as per reports, Ranveer had given a ‘free hand’ about this matter, with Deepika being the sole incharge of the wedding date. Also, a source close to the couple had shared with a leading publication, “You won't find a more committed boyfriend than Ranveer in the entertainment industry. If he could have things his way, he would hold Deepika's hand and take her around the holy fire without a moment's loss. He wants her and only her as his wife, and he wants to start a family as soon as she's ready.” And looks like Deepika did a good job on that!
Do you know, when Deepika had first met Ranveer, his first impression upon her was not that endearing? This is what the Chennai Express star had stated, “For people who don’t know him, he might come across as attention-seeking. And I completely understand that because I have to admit I had the same impression of him when he was doing Band Bajaa Baarat. I’d feel like he is too much, too loud and too this and too that. Until we started doing Ram-Leela together and before that during all our workshops is when I realised that what you see is what you get."
When Ranveer thought that Deepika was ‘incredible’, this is what he had shared in an interview, “I was in tears when I watched her talking about it (her depression) on a TV chat show. It takes a lot of mental and emotional fortitude to come out with something that has such a large (social) stigma attached to it. Deepika has won me over for life with the kind of strength and courage she has.
