Deepika has now given her first interview post-wedding to the famous GQ magazine. Excerpts from the interview have been shared by IANS. We all know that Ranveer Singh is always hyper-energetic. But Deepika, being his girlfriend-turned-wife, knows him inside out. She said, "He is vulnerable, extremely emotional, very intelligent; childlike at times. That's not to say that his irrepressible energy isn't him, it's very him. He's a real people's person, but there's a quiet side to him too."

The Padmvaat actress further added, "Emotionally, I think I'm the more intuitive one. I'd say IQ is more him. But at the same time, he's not all like, 'I'm a man, I can't show my emotions.' He is sensitive, and so am I, and it makes it easier to share a life with someone who understands that."
DeepVeer fans know that they had waited for the wedding pictures for long. Talking about the same, Deepika stated, "I think the pictures we shared summed up the wedding - it was magical to have just family and friends there who mean something to you, who don't really care about who you are professionally, but are there because they love you for who you are as a person." Deepika also shared how marriage can let a woman lose her individuality, and hence she added, "I'm aware of culture, tradition, all that… I also understand what it means to be my own person. Of course, it's exciting to take your relationship to the next level, but at no point as a woman should you forget your sense of individuality. It's important to remain authentic and stay true to who you are. The idea is not to lose yourself in the process of marriage."

And finally talking about how she sees her new beginning and her professional life, Deepika retorted, "It's going to be pretty challenging because I'll be producing and acting in Meghna Gulzar's next film (about acid victims). For the first time, I'll also be making decisions with my director -- we would've started work before I took off for the wedding, and will get back to it now. Also, setting up home."
Ranveer and Deepika really complement each other, and two never shy away from praising each other. In a video, from their Mumbai reception, Ranveer Singh could be seen sharing the key to a successful life which he, self-admittedly, owes to Deepika. In the video, he can be heard saying, "The key to success in life is to say yes to everything that she says... so when baby says baby change the vibe of the music I have to oblige, baby this one's for you." Earlier, in an interview with the Filmfare magazine, the Bajirao Mastaani actor had shared as to when he was sure, she is 'the one' for him. He stated, "Six months into the relationship, I knew she was the one. I nurtured the relationship accordingly. It’s been six years now. She’s too good, too lovely. She’s a force of nature. I understood that almost immediately. I’m lucky to have her. I knew all too well that this is the woman I’m going to marry. This is the woman who would become the mother of my children. I’ve been thinking about marriage seriously for almost three years now. I was just waiting, I told her the minute you say so, we’ll do it.” (Don't Miss: Isha Ambani's Family Picture With Parents, Brothers And Bhabhis, Shloka Mehta And Radhika Merchant)
