If there's one couple, who had never let their fans down when it comes to social media banters or PDA, then it has to be Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. DeepVeer's social media PDA goes back to their pre-marriage days and continues till even today. Deepika and Ranveer never miss a chance to express their admiration and love for each other on social media, sending hugs and kisses on one another's pictures and, flirting and pulling each other's legs on their posts. While most of us had planned our travel itineraries just when we entered the 2020 but little did we know back then that we will be left homebound due to the pandemic. For celebs, who would often travel to places due to their professional commitments, it has been quite challenging to stay confined at home. Ranveer Singh too, is missing his vacation days to beaches and with a ‘take me back to the beach’ throwback picture, he confessed his love for sofa. Ranveer captioned his selfie as “I love my sofa...par ek ‘take-me-back-I-miss-bein-outdoors’ selfie toh banta hai na.” To which, his wife, Deepika Padukone demanded an explanation and commented, “Explain.”
On July 21, 2020, Ranveer Singh had posted a picture, sporting a new look and it piqued his wife, Deepika Padukone's curiosity on who clicked his photo. Deepika had channelled her inner hairstylist for Ranveer and the latter had credited his wife for the same in the caption. Ranveer had captioned his post as "Hair by: @deepikapadukone Very Mifune in ‘Yojimbo’. I like it. What do you think?" To which, Deepika had commented, "Who took the picture...?" followed by a thinking emoji. During a Hangout interview with journalist Rajeev Masand, Deepika Padukone had revealed her daily routine with husband, Ranveer Singh and how easy it is to live with him. Deepika had said, “I have to say, he’s the easiest person to live with in this scenario. He’s sleeping for about 20 hours, which really allows me time to do things that I want to do. For the four hours that he’s awake, we’re either watching a movie, eating, exercising. He’s a real joy to be with at this time. No demands, no hassles, he’s very easy. He never goes to the kitchen. I’m really good at western cooking and Italian and continental. I’ve always been scared of the cooker though. I want to learn Indian cooking in this time. I want to learn the difference between dhaniya, pudina and besan and atta.”
Deepika Padukone has kept herself engaged during the lockdown by resorting to household chores like cleaning her closet, labelling her groceries and working out at home. But there's one habit of hers that Ranveer Singh has a problem with and complains about it on their WhatsApp family group. Elaborating on the same, Deepika had said, “I'm never bored. My mother always says it, Ranveer keeps saying it, ‘Can you sit in one place? Can you not have to do something all the time?’ And I don’t know. I am always up to something, my mind is always occupied. He calls it ‘phat-phat’ and then he complains on the family group. I sprained my back two days ago when I was ‘cleaning’. And then I was bored. So he made sure before he went down to the gym, he said ‘You’re not moving from here you’ve sprained your back’. And he made a surprise visit in 20 minutes and I was not in my bed I was up on a shelf, trying to clean something and he got really wild."
