However, to everyone's surprise, Deepika announced her pregnancy just ahead of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's grand pre-wedding festivities. Not only this, but she even made her first appearance with her husband, Ranveer, as the couple arrived for Amabnis' celebration at Jamnagar.
On February 29, 2024, Deepika and Ranveer made a stylish entry at the airport in Jamnagar, Gujarat, to mark their presence at Anant Ambani's pre-wedding festivities. However, the couple was mobbed by the fans, who showered them with congratulatory wishes. To everyone's surprise, the crowd didn't give their way, and they were mobbed by the public. However, it was Ranveer who protected his pregnant wife and, with his hand, safeguarded her baby bump.

While Ranveer was decked up in a white-hued sweatshirt with matching pants and a cap, Deepika looked pretty in a white-hued ribbed oversized sweater teamed with matching white-hued palazzo pants. She styled her look with pointy heels. Subtle makeup and hair tied in a bun completed her look.
On February 29, 2024, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh shared that they are soon going to welcome their first child. Without posting fancy pictures, in a sweet picture note with cute baby booties and onesies illustration, the couple revealed their due month. Atop the photo, Deepika and Ranveer wrote, "September 2024, Ranveer and Deepika."
