Adding to the list of inspiring and lovable saas-bahu jodis are Deepika Padukone and Anju Bhavnani. The newly-weds, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh reached the Bhavnani residence for Griha Pravesh ceremony on November 18, 2018. “When Deewani finally joined the Bhavnanis” picture has newly-weds, Deepika and Ranveer posing along with Ranveer's father, Jugjeet Singh Bhavnani, his mother Anju Bhavnani and his sister Ritika Bhavnani, after their Konkani wedding. The new addition to the Bhavnani family, Deepika can be seen happily holding her mother-in-law, Anju Bhavnani's hands. Too much love and happiness in a single frame!
Just like every elated to-be bride’s sister, Deepika’s sister Anisha Padukone also couldn’t control her excitement for her sister’s marriage. Before Deepika and Ranveer’s wedding, Anisha changed her Instagram bio to #Ladkiwale. And now that the wedding is over and Deepika and Ranveer have become DeepVeer, Anisha changed #Ladkiwale to #DeepVeerwale.
Before their November wedding, Deepika and Ranveer went out on a dinner date and were accompanied by his mom, Anju Bhavnani at The Taj Land hotel, Mumbai. One of the fans who spotted the trio at the hotel, with the username Prash_m_c wrote, “Hobnobbing with this couple. Happened to be having dinner and catching up with my bestie @soniachhabra1 who just got into the city. He further shared, “Once they got up to leave we requested for a picture. Ranveer was very generous to not only agree but took the phone and did the honors. But before he could, he pulled out those sunglasses. And transformed into the HERO we know he is. Deepika was super cute and that dimple and sweet smile. Just another day in Mumbai folks! As Deepika and Ranveer arrived at the Mumbai airport, they were madly surrounded by the media and fans who were waiting to catch the first glimpse of the newly-wedded couple. Deepika and Ranveer were twinning in cream-coloured traditional outfits with a dark-coloured Nehru jacket and dupatta respectively. But Deepika’s sindoor and chooda, and Ranveer’s mehendi with Deepika’s name on his palm symbolically, were the highlights.
According to the reports, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have bought a new bungalow in Juhu, Mumbai and it costs approximately Rs 50 Crores. A source had revealed, “Ranveer and Deepika were looking for their perfect home since quite a while and the moment they saw this property, they knew they wanted it. It’s a huge bungalow which costs Rs 50 crore approximately. They wanted the interiors more personalised so the work in that house is still on. Until then, the duo will be residing in Singh’s current residence, Shree.”
From being admirers of each other to finally being life-partners, Deepika and Ranveer had a long and inspiring journey of love. Speaking about how good Ranveer is as a human being, Deepika shared in a throwback interview, “Everything other than the most obvious. I am bored when people say they love his energy. The man has so much more! He is an extremely good human being. He is kind and good to people. He is very real, emotional and sensitive.
