Deepika Padukone is one of the top actresses in Bollywood. Apart from acting, she has even launched her skincare brand and hopped onto her entrepreneurial journey. Now, Deepika is busy nesting as she is all set to welcome her first child in September 2024. Deepika Padukone and her husband, Ranveer Singh, announced their pregnancy in February 2024.
Deepika Padukone has been a fitness enthusiast, and during her pregnancy, to stay fit, she kicked started her prenatal yoga journey. On July 3, 2024, Deepika took to her Instagram handle and shared a post. In the picture, we can see the mommy-to-be lying on a mat with her leg up the wall, showing off her baby bump. Deepika wore a fitted black-hued tank top with a matching pair of trousers.

For those who don't know, the pose Deepika was seen pulling is called Viparita Karani Aasan. For pregnant women, this aasan helps relieve aching muscles, joints, and swollen ankles and feet. Deepika, in her long note, revealed that the pose also helps reduce pressure on the lower back and relieve feelings of heaviness and fatigue.
In her note, Deepika also addressed how she loves a good workout. She added that she works out to feel fit and not just look good. The mom-to-be also highlighted how she cannot work out anymore, so she practices prenatal yoga. She wrote:
"I love a good workout. I don’t work out to ‘look good’ but to ‘feel fit’. Exercise has been part of my lifestyle for as long as I can remember. However, when I can’t fit in a workout, I practice this simple 5-minute routine. I do this every day, whether I work out or not. It’s especially useful after a long flight or just to decompress."
