Bollywood actress, Deepika Padukone is one of the highest-paid actresses in India. She has been in the headlines since the release of Shah Rukh Khan’s film, Jawan, in which she did a cameo. She is one of the few celebrities who are extremely good when it comes to investing money in start-ups and businesses. For the unversed, it was back in 2019 when Deepika invested Rs. 30 crores in a start-up.

Back in 2019, the need for electric vehicles was picking up the pace in India, and even the government was encouraging young entrepreneurs to work in the direction of producing electric vehicles that can eliminate fossil fuel use.
At that time, three young and dynamic individuals, Anmol Singh Jaggi, Punit K Goyal and Puneet Singh came together and founded a ride-sharing company, BluSmart. The company is headquartered in Gurugram and was founded in January 2019. As of now, the company is operating in Delhi, Bengaluru and Mumbai, with its eyes on other metropolitan cities.

Coming back to Deepika Padukone’s investment of Rs. 30 crores, it was indeed a key to the success of this ride-sharing company, BlueSmart. As per reports, the founders of the company, Anmol Singh Jaggi, Punit K Goyal and Puneet Singh were struggling to find a suitable investor, who could make a significant amount of investment in their idea, and it was then they got the attention of Deepika, who believed in their vision. The actress paid Rs. 30 crores through her family office, KA Enterprises.

Deepika Padukone’s decision to invest such a huge amount in a start-up like this was quite commendable, as not many people would invest an amount like this in a ride-sharing start-up. However, it’s fair to say that BluSmart has repaid her faith in them as after more than three years of hard work, the company's current evaluation stands at a massive sum of Rs. 2,066 crores. Well, BluSmart isn’t the only company in which Deepika has invested. According to reports, the actress has invested in companies like FrontRow, Atomberg Technologies, Epigamia, Furlenco, Bellatrix, Mokobara, Nua, and many more.
