Deepika Padukone Reveals Her Daughter, Dua's Face On Diwali, Twins In Red Kurta With Two Ponytails

Deepika Padukone has been enjoying her mom era, without any nanny's help or support. While being a hands-on mommy, Deepika is ensuring a comeback in Bollywood with her films. Due to her eight-hour shift demands, she even faced major controversies. However, Deepika, being Deepika, has been choosing to ignore all such things and enjoying her journey as a mother. Recently, she surprised her fans by sharing the first pictures of her daughter, Dua.

On October 21, 2025, as the world is celebrating Diwali, Deepika shared glimpses of her Diwali puja with her daughter, Dua, and her husband, Ranveer Singh. In the pictures, Deepika held Dua in her arms as the little girl smiled for the camera while Ranveer looked at the two leading ladies of his life in awe. 

Deepika's daughter, Dua, was dressed up in a red-hued angrakha kurta with salwar. Her hair was tied up in two ponytails with red-hued rubber bands and a small bindi. In the second photo, Ranveer hugged his small family while Deepika made sure that Dua was smiling for the camera. Deepika was dressed up in a matching red-toned anarkali kurta. On the other hand, Ranveer wore a cream-toned sherwani with layers of beaded necklace.

In one of the photos, Dua cutely put her hands in her mouth. However, the last photo was adorable as Deepika shared a glimpse of their puja while helping her daughter to fold her hands and pray. Sharing the photos, Deepika wrote:

"Deepavali ki hardik shubhkamnaye."

A video surfaced on the internet, which clearly showed the face of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's daughter, Dua Singh Padukone, without their consent. The couple have been firm on their stance of keeping their daughter away from social media. In the said clip, Dua was sitting on her mother's lap while they were ferried across the Mumbai International Airport in a buggy.

However, Deepika got the idea that a 'fan' was recording them, and in response, she strongly reacted to the fan recording them and gave a death stare. Despite this, the video was made available online without the parents' consent. The internet also slammed the video and the one who recorded Dua without their family's permission.

A large section of people also condemned the act, one user wrote, "Just seen Dua’s Padukone face I hate you people with a burning passion, Deepika specifically said she doesn’t want her child’s face out there and yet a so called 'fan' felt the need to video it even though you can see Dp not happy in the clip and you still shared it anyway."

When Deepika Padukone's first photo with her daughter surfaced

For the unversed, last year, on November 1, 2024, Deepika, in a collaborative post with Ranveer Singh, introduced the world to her daughter. In the photo, we could see her baby girl's tiny feet as she was decked up in a red anarkali, just like her mother, Deepika. Along with the picture, Deepika penned a note and revealed her daughter's name — Dua Padukone Singh.
