Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are the OG couples of the Tinseltown. The duo makes it to the headlines every now and then, courtesy of their stunning looks, mushy romance and terrific acting skills. They look like a match-made-in-heaven, and they love to reveal fond anecdotes about their personal life on many instances. For the unversed, the duo tied the knot in 2018 in a lavish destination wedding in Italy’s Lake Como.
In a recent interview with Tweak India, Deepika Padukone opened up about many instances of her personal life. However, moving further in the conversation, Deepika revealed one of her unheard and hidden talents. She revealed that behind everyone’s eyes, she can be a good mimic and can only perform her best in front of her husband, Ranveer Singh and her sister, Anisha Padukone. Moreover, she also mentioned what her husband has to say about this talent of hers. In her words:
“I am a good mimic. According to my husband, I am a great mimic hidden in the closet, hasn't been discovered yet, waiting to be discovered. But I can't. Somehow when the cameras are on, and when he puts me in the spot and makes me mimic someone in front of people, it does not happen. But with my sister and my husband, I am a fantastic mimic.”

A few days back, in an interview, Ranveer spoke about the proud moment when his wifey, Deepika had unveiled the trophy for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Moreover, he added that on many such events, he has noticed that people do not notice or recognise him while he stands beside his wife. However, he mentioned that such events do not hurt him in any way and he does not mind it a bit. In his words:
“I was just being authentic and true to myself. When I go to these places, they sense that he must be somebody but may not be familiar with me."
Since they are the most sought-after couples in B-Town, there are many moments when Ranveer and Deepika have been targeted with unnecessary trolls and baseless rumours. For instance, about a month back, there were frequent reports that circulated online, which hinted at troubles in Deep-Veer’s marriage. While the couple did not respond to the speculations at that moment, it was Deepika during her podcast session with Meghan Markle, who shut it all down. She assured that everything was fine between them and it was just that the duo had been away due to work.
