On August 1, 2023, a new video of Deepika Padukone went viral on Reddit. In the video, the actress opened up about her marriage with her darling husband, Ranveer Singh. On being asked by the host about how her parents, Prakash Padukone and Ujjala Padukone reacted when she told them that Ranveer Singh is the one, Deepika gave a cutesy reaction. Answering the same, the diva revealed that she didn't say that he is the one. Deepika added that her parents were happy when she and Ranveer told them that they wanted to get married. Elaborating more on it, the actress said:
"Ek to maine yeh nahi kaha ki Ranveer Singh is the one. But I think jab maine mere parents ko kaha ki humdono shaadi karna chahte hai, they were obviously very very thrilled, they were happy."

Recently, Ranveer talked about facing cultural and familial differences in his marriage with Deepika. Talking about the same, in a press conference, the actor revealed that their respective parents didn't understand their bond intially, especially his saasu maa. He added that with time, his bond with his mother-in-law has strengthened and they are closer now. Ranveer even mentioned that now Deepika's mother is his favourite person.

A glimpse of their cutesy romance was captured on July 29, 2023, when Ranveer and Deepika were papped as they headed to watch Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. She wore a white t-shirt and teamed with a regular denim jacket, black sunnies, and open tresses. Moreover, it was the prints on DP's jacket that grabbed eyeballs. The actress's jacket had the initials of Ranveer's name, and a funky portrait of him.

Earlier, in an interview with Tweak India, Deepika had revealed one of her unheard and hidden talents. Talking about the same, the gorgeousness mentioned that she is a good mimicry artist. Deepika added that she could only perform her best in front of her husband, Ranveer Singh and her sister, Anisha Padukone. The actress further mentioned what her husband thinks about her hidden talent and said:
"I am a good mimic. According to my husband, I am a great mimic hidden in the closet, hasn't been discovered yet, waiting to be discovered. But I can't. Somehow when the cameras are on, and when he puts me in the spot and makes me mimic someone in front of people, it does not happen. But with my sister and my husband, I am a fantastic mimic."
