Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone can safely be hailed as the power couple of Bollywood. The high-profile celebrity duo never skips a chance to paint the town red with their mushy camaraderie and fairytale life. Ranveer and Deepika tied the knot on November 14, 2018, in an intimate wedding. For those who don't know, DeepVeer is all set to grace the much-anticipated show, Koffee With Karan 8, wherein they will reveal a lot of secret anecdotes about their courtship period and wedding. And yet the same happened again, as before gracing the show, the couple sat for an interview.
In an interview with The Times Of India, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone opened up about their dreamy wedding in Italy. Deepika's doting hubby, Ranveer revealed that it was the former who planned their wedding in a span of 8-10 months. Ranveer can be quoted as saying:
"Deepika had taken some time out to curate the wedding and planned it in a span of 8-10 months."

In the same interview, Deepika added that she initially wanted their wedding to happen in India since both of them are from this country. However, after coming across Lake Como, Itlay, she finalised the same. Deepika Padukone revealed that having an Indian wedding on a beach is not an ideal thing. She also added that their wedding worked out well as there had been the amalgamation of natural beauty amidst the water, and the place consisted of their loved ones. Deepika said:
"Having an Indian wedding on a beach is not the ideal thing, this worked out well because it had the nature and the water and it could hold just the amount of people we wanted there."
Ranveer Singh and Deepika recently painted the town red with some smoking HAWT photos. Taking to their IG handles they dropped some lovey-dovey frames, wherein we can see them twinning in black ensembles while posing mushily alongside each other. However, for the unversed, this look of the husband-wife duo was for Koffee With Karan, season 8. However, in a clip from the show's upcoming episode that has been doing rounds, Ranveer can be seen recalling meeting Deepika for the first time.
The actor mentioned that he was waiting for Deepika Padukone at Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s house in Versova for a script reading. However, there was a moment when Deepika entered through the door while her hair blew by the touch of the sea breeze. The actor shared that he was bowled over seeing Deepika in a white chikankari ensemble, and he went, 'Oh my god'. Ranveer shared:
"So, these heavy doors open and the gush of wind comes from the sea. There, Deepika enters wearing this white chikankar, hair blowing due to the sea wind just like some sadgi ki moorat. I was like Oh My God.”

In an old interview with The Business Of Fashion in 2019, Deepika Padukone and her wedding outfit designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee talked about the former's wedding. The ace designer revealed that Ranveer had told him that Deepika had gone through multiple food tastings before finalising the wedding menu. To this, Deepika Padukone said 'twelve'. Sabyasachi also shared that DeepVeer's wedding venue was perfect and added that their wedding was small, intimate, and cultured.
