Deepika Padukone Reviews 'Dhurandhar' And Appreciates Her Husband, Ranveer Singh, 'Worth Every..'

Currently, Ranveer Singh has been making headlines for his powerful performance in the recently released film, Dhurandhar. The film, directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Akshaye Khanna, Ranveer Singh, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal and more hit the theatres on December 5, 2025. And while everyone is busy loving Ranveer Singh's role in the film, his wife, Deepika Padukone has also shared a post, applauding Dhurandhar and his performance. 

Deepika Padukone calls Dhurandhar ‘worth every minute’

On December 5, 2025, Ranveer Singh’s ladylove, Deepika Padukone took to her Instagram Stories and shared an appreciation post for the Gully Boy actor. In her story, Deepika shared a poster of the film and mentioned that the action thriller is ‘worth every minute’. She further tagged her husband and shared that she is extremely proud of him. She also added the title track of Dhurandhar in the background of her story. Her note can be read as:

"Dhurandhar has been watched and is worth every minute of those 3.34 hours! So do yourselves a favour and get to a cinema hall now! Soo incredibly proud of you @ranveersingh! Congratulations to the entire cast and crew! @adityadharfilms | @officialjiostudios."

Fans hail Ranveer Singh’s performance in Dhurandhar

In the film, Dhurandhar, Ranveer Singh plays the role of ‘Hamza’, who goes on a mission to protect his country. With his dangerous personality, Ranveer Singh shines as bright as possible in the film. In Dhurandhar, he is shown as someone who is willing to go to any extent for his country. His intense presence makes him the soul of the film. It is worth mentioning that Ranveer Singh charged around Rs. 30-50 crore for his role in Dhurandhar.

Appreciating his performance, one user commented, "Ranveer Singh ne character ko jis intensity se pakda hai — kamal kar diya!" The action thriller film, Dhurandhar is directed and produced by Aditya Dhar. Apart from Ranveer Singh in lead, the film also stars R Madhavan (as ‘Ajay Sanyal’), Sanjay Dutt (as ‘Chaudhary Aslam’), Akshaye Khanna (as ‘Rehman Dakait’), Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi and more. The film has a runtime of 3 hours and 34 minutes. According to a report by Sacnilk, Dhurandhar had crossed Rs. 13.67 crore at the box office by the evening of December 5, 2025.

For those who don’t know, Dhurandhar is all set to return with its sequel. In the post credit scene of the film, the makers revealed that Part 2 of this film will be released on Eid, March 19, 2026. The sequel of Dhurandhar will be clashing with the film, Toxic, starring Yash.
