When the two first appeared in the film, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, fans were sure that the duo’s on-screen love will culminate in their off-screen relationship.
After dodging the rumours of their relationship for more than half a decade, when Deepika and Ranveer had announced the news of their wedding, their fans were more than delighted. And finally, on November 14-15, 2018, DeepVeer (as lovingly called by their fans) had begun their forever journey by taking their wedding vows as per Konkani and Sindhi style.

Now, for the past few days, there have been rumours that all is not well in Ranveer and Deepika’s paradise, and the duo is heading for separation. Amid the separation rumours, the actress made a stunning appearance at the airport. Dressed in her casual best, Deepika smiled and posed for the paps. However, netizens spotted that the actress was not wearing her wedding ring, which she usually does, leading to more speculations about DeepVeer’s separation.
Talking about Deepika and Ranveer’s separation rumours, it so happened that a few days back, a Twitter user had shared a statement hinting that Ranveer and Deepika’s marriage is hitting rock bottom. His tweet spread like a wildfire on social media. This left the couple's fans worried, and they were confused if the speculation was actually true. The tweet could be read as:
“BREAKING! Everything is not OK between #DeepikaPadukone and #RanveerSingh!!!"

Meanwhile, during an event, Ranveer Singh opened up about his relationship with Deepika, putting an end to all the speculations. He shared that he and Deepika have been together for ten years now and added that he holds immense respect for her. In his words:
“Touchwood…We met and started dating in 2012… so 2022 is ten years of me and Deepika. I have nothing but the utmost respect for her and I admire her a lot. I have learnt a lot from her in my personal life too. There is a sweet surprise for everyone. You guys will see us together very soon. She is one of the best things that has happened to me and am so grateful for her in my life.”
