Amid this, an old video of the actress has made its way to social media, where she was seen heaping praises on Arjun Rampal. The video in question was from the initial years of Deepika’s career, where she talked about having a huge crush on Arjun.

In the video, Deepika looked stunning with her well-defined eyebrows, kohled eyes, nude lipstick and a bindi. The throwback video was shared on a Reddit thread and netizens couldn’t help but praise her stunning looks. One of the users wrote, “She has such a perfect face.” Another user commented, “This was her original skin tone if I am not wrong. So pretty it was. Why did she go for skin lightening? Why?”

For the past some years, there have been a lot of rumours that Deepika Padukone had undergone skin lighting treatments to reduce melanin production. It was speculated that the skin treatment gave Deepika a fairer skin tone and is the major reason for her oh-so-gorgeous look.

However, the actress bashed the rumours in an interview with film critic, Rajeev Masand. In the show, when she was questioned about the most bizarre thing she had ever heard about herself, Deepika said:
“I heard a really bizarre one recently which was about...apparently I've done some surgery to look fair. Who does that guys?"”
On the professional front, Deepika is riding high on the success of her last film, Pathaan. The diva is all set to make a special appearance in Shah Rukh Khan’s much-anticipated film, Jawan. Her upcoming films include Project K, starring Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan and Fighter, starring Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor.
