Deepika Padukone Talks About Her COMPLICATED Pregnancy And Delivery 'Went Through A Lot In..'

Deepika Padukone is officially a part of the 'poopoo-peepee' cleaning club as she welcomed her first child, a baby girl, in September 2024. Since then, Deepika has limited her public appearances and spends most of her time with her baby girl, Dua Padukone. There are reports which claim Deepika has chosen not to hire any nanny for her daughter, unlike other celebrity parents, and wants to manage it all on her own. Now, Deepika, for the first time talked about her complicated pregnancy and delivery.

Deepika Padukone talked about her complicated pregnancy

Deepika Padukone made starry appearances and attended work events throughout her first pregnancy. Recently, Deepika, in an interview with Marie Claire, remembered details of her baby girl's arrival and when she held the little bundle of joy for the first time in her arms. Deepika revealed that she had a complicated pregnancy and delivery. Without sharing a lot of details, Deepika said:

"I went through a lot in the eight, nine months of being pregnant."

Talking about her final trimester, she shared that every body part of her was in pain, and it was uncomfortable, despite the fact that she was doing yoga. She said:

"Suddenly you're discovering body parts because they hurt. But that rib pain was, oh my God."

On November 1, 2024, Deepika, in a collaborative post with Ranveer Singh, introduced the world to her daughter. In the photo, we could see her baby girl's tiny feet as she was decked up in a red anarkali, just like her mother, Deepika. Along with the picture, Deepika penned a note and revealed her daughter's name — Dua Padukone Singh.

Deepika Padukone left everyone surprised by attending Diljit Dosanjh's concert in Bangalore, and several videos from the same have been going around the internet. In the clip, Deepika was seen dancing her heart out. The yummy mommy radiated her post-pregnancy glow as she wore a comfy outfit. She was dressed up in a white-hued top and jeans. Deepika was also seen doing Bhangra, as Diljit Dosanjh was performing on stage. 

When Deepika and Ranveer hosted meet and greet for media and requested them to respect their daughter's privacy

After their daughter's birth in November, Deepika and Ranveer hosted a small gathering for the media in their building. They even introduced their daughter, Dua, to the photographers and made it look like a family event. Not only this, Deepika and Ranveer requested photographers not to click photos of their daughter. A celebrity photographer, Yogen Shah, expressed in detail about the happiness of seeing Dua. The photographer further revealed that Dua is a perfect blend of her parents, Deepika and Ranveer. When she greeted the pap, she was in half-sleep. However, there were moments when she fluttered open her tiny eyes. The photographer further revealed how it was an unforgettable experience to see Dua wrapped in her parents' embrace.
