The gorgeous lady recently made it to the headlines after she was removed from Sandeep Reddy Vanga's film, Spirit. Reportedly, Deepika had to back out from the film due to her disagreements on working conditions. The actress, who recently became a mom to her baby girl, was replaced by Triptii Dimri in the movie, Spirit. After the same, reports claimed that she was also dropped from the movie, Kalki 2.

Recently, a report by an IG handle, Bollywood.mobi revealed that Deepika Padukone was dropped from the movie, Kalki 2, due to her demands for shorter working hours. The report also stated that Deepika's wish for shorter hours after embracing motherhood is causing friction altogether. The same post further added that the makers of Kalki 2 actually considered removing Deepika's part from the film. It was also falsely claimed that Deepika Padukone had a tiff with the film's team and her co-star, Prabhas, which led the team to remove her from the movie. However, dismissing the claims, a source close to Kalki 2's development team stated that the buzz was simply baseless.

Talking to NDTV, the source revealed that the movie is still in its pre-production stage, and the cast even hasn't been looked into yet. The source further dismissed the claims that Deepika was removed from the movie due to the on-set friction and mentioned that there had been no interaction or fallout on the sets. The source can be quoted as saying:

"They haven’t even approached actors because it’s still in development. There’s been no shoot, no interaction, and therefore, no fallout."
