Katrina Kaif, post stepping into the industry was in a ‘not so rumoured’ relationship with Salman Khan. Soon after, things went kaput between the duo and she went on to date B-town’s heartthrob, Ranbir Kapoor. But soon enough, they parted ways too as Ranbir started dating Katrina’s BFF, Alia Bhatt. There’s never a year when Katrina and Alia fail to wish each other on their birthdays, no matter what the situation is. And hence, yesterday, Katrina’s once BFF-cum-now her ex’s current muse, posted a heartfelt wish for Kat. Alia posted a beautiful picture with the birthday girl on her Instagram story and wrote the words “Happiest Birthday dearest Katy!!! May you laugh and dance all day… shine and smile all year and give us body goals your whole life” atop it. The post was followed by kiss and star emojis.
Katrina Kaif has probably mended sour ways with most of her industry colleagues. After Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone too had taken to Instagram and had posted a cute birthday wish for Katrina. Coming back to Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif, when asked in a previous interview if the former would invite the latter on her wedding, she had replied with a blatant ‘no’. But surprisingly, the lady with whom Ranbir had apparently cheated on Deepika, Katrina had attended her wedding reception! In fact, she was one of the first few celebs to have congratulated the couple. Both Katrina and Deepika were always known to share cold vibes with each other, but the latter was overwhelmed when she saw Katrina attending her wedding bash. Bollywood’s Padmaavati was quoted as saying, “A lot of water has flown under the bridge. For me, just the fact that she came and was very present was gracious (of her). I've always been fond of her. You know, just the way that she's been over the years, and with her work and I have a lot of respect for that. I made my peace with her.”
And not just this, both Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone have started to follow each other on Instagram soon after. Yes, cold vibes did make an exit for Deepika and Katrina. Further sharing about attending Deepika and Ranveer’s reception bash, Katrina had also shared, “ I did dance the night away. I was one of the last people to leave, I must confess that. I think I also ate at least half of their chocolate fountain. It was a lovely reception and everyone had a really nice time. They both looked absolutely lovely."
