Nonetheless, Deepika ensured to leave an indelible impression with her performance in the recently released film, Kalki 2898 AD. And now, it seems the internet has been abuzz with a special glimpse from the actress' performance in the film.
Recently, internet has been abuzz with viral glimpses of Deepika Padukone from one of the crucial scenes of her recent film, Kalki 2898 AD. For the unversed, the diva, who is heavily pregnant in her real life, had been enthusiastically participating in the promotional events of the film, that also stars Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Rana Daggubati, among others. Interestingly, the actress also enacts the role of a pregnant lady in the film.

And now, audiences cannot stop from hyping the diva for her viral fire scene in the movie, wherein Deepika can be seen walking amid lashing flames of fire, while flaunting her bare baby bump. Taking to various social media platforms, audiences have been sharing sneak peeks of Deepika from the scene, and expressing their appreciation towards the actress.
A few days back, the makers of the film, Kalki 2898 AD organised for a press meet, for the trailer launch of the film. The event was attended by all the cast of the film, and it was Deepika Padukone, who made a scintillating appearance, flaunting her grown baby bump. As the cast and crew interacted with the press and the emcee, it was Kamal Haasan who made a special comment about Deepika’s soon-to-be-born child, and predicted what could be a possible career choice for the baby. He mentioned:
“That’s what made this film. That child. We hope this child (Deepika’s child) will also make a film someday.”
Well, Deepika Padukone turned heads with her oh-so-gorgeous look amid pregnancy, as she attended the promotional even for her film, Kalki 2898 AD, along with the rest of the cast of the film. The diva donned a black-hued, body-hugging ribbed dress, with a halter-neck detailing. She wore high black heels, and completed her look with minimal accessories, a messy ponytail and smokey-eye look. While the actress also faced a lot of unwanted criticism for wearing heels during pregnancy, Deepika didn’t let the outside noise hamper her fashion quotient.

During the same event, Deepika Padukone talked about how her real life stage of pregnancy coincided with the pregnant character that she was enacting in Kalki 2898 AD. She wittily remarked feeling like carrying her baby bump in real life as well, and mentioned:
“I mean, the movie went on for three years, so I thought why not carry the bump just a few months more?”
