Shreyas Talpade is one of the most talented actors in Bollywood. The actor never skips a chance to win the hearts of his fans, courtesy of his prowess. The actor stepped into Bollywood as the lead role in the movie, Iqbal. Moreover, his role as Shah Rukh Khan's friend 'Pappu Master' in Om Shanti Om brought him fame and recognition. Apart from that, he was also seen in much-loved movies like Golmaal Returns, Welcome to Sajjanpur, Golmaal 3, Housefull 2, and Golmaal Again, among so many others. In his personal life, the actor is married to Deepti Talpade, and they are parents to their daughter, Aadya.
It was back in December 2023, when Shreyas and his family members went through a tough phase as the actor suffered a heart attack. However, the actor survived his near-death experience. It was the actor's wife, Deepti, who stood like a pillar beside him during this tough time, and the actor also acknowledged the same and called his wifey 'superwoman.' However, in a recent interview, Deepti talked about that tough time and how some industry friends, along with Akshay Kumar, were there beside them.

In an interview with ABP’s Majha Katta, Deepti Taldpade stated that on the day when Shreyas was admitted to the hospital, his director, Ahmed Khan, and his wife came to the hospital at 11 pm at night. Talking more about how they got the Hindi film industry beside them, Deepti added that Akshay Kumar kept calling her and asking her if they should shift Shreyas to another hospital. Deepti further stated that Akshay called her the next day and urged her to see Shreyas for once. Deepti can be quoted as saying:
"When the news broke out, Shreyas’ director Ahmed Khan and his wife came to the hospital at 11 pm at night. They were with me. Akshay Kumar, you know he kept calling me and asked, ‘Deepti should we shift him? You tell, we will shift him to a different hospital.’ He again called me in the morning and said, ‘let me please see him for two minutes. I just want to see him.’ I said, ‘you can come whenever you want.’ Hindi and Marathi film industry was there that day for us.”
As per a report by the Hindustan Times, the actor seemed all fit and fine throughout the whole day on the set as he was busy shooting for his film, Welcome To The Jungle, but after coming home, he felt uneasy. The actor's wife rushed him to Bellevue Hospital in Andheri West, Mumbai, and in the mid-way, the actor reportedly collapsed. The report also added that Shreyas had undergone angioplasty.

After recovering from his tough health issues, Shreyas Talpade sat for an interview with the Bombay Times and stated that in his life, he had never been admitted to a hospital. Talking more about going through cardiac arrest, Shreyas mentioned that his family has a history of suffering from heart alignments, but he never thought of going through the same. The actor mentioned that he had been working constantly for the past two and a half years and had felt extremely fatigued for the last few months. Speaking about the day of his cardiac arrest, Shreyas added that he felt muscle pain, fatigue, and pain in his left leg and let his wife know about the same. However, when they rushed to the hospital, they had another level of hurdle, and it was Deepti who, like a 'superwoman', did what needed to be done.
