'Delhi Crime Season 3' Release Date, Shefali Shah As 'Vartika' Leads Fight Against Human Trafficking

Delhi Crime is a popular Hindi web-series, starring Shefali Shah in a powerful role. Ever since its debut, the show, Delhi Crime, directed by Richie Mehta, has earned global recognition for its engaging storyline, realistic portrayal and powerful acting by the cast. The Emmy-winning Netflix series has not only impressed the audience, but it has also sparked meaningful conversations. After two hard-hitting seasons, Delhi Crime is all set to return with its third season. Read on to know about the release date. 

Release date of Delhi Crime is out

On October 16, 2025, the makers dropped the release date of Netflix series, Delhi Crime with an interesting teaser, that was enough to make the audience curious about the plot. With the 1-minute long teaser, the makers announced that the Season 3 of this blockbuster web-series will be released on November 13, 2025, only on Netflix. Along with it, the makers captioned it as:

"Kanoon meets Madam Sir, once again."

The recently released teaser of Delhi Crime opens with an abandoned infant, but it quickly escalates to a human trafficking network. In Season 3, Shefali Shah returns as 'Vartika', a powerful police officer. What seems like a local case, soon turns into a nationwide conspiracy. The teaser shows a terrifying world and the tagline of the series, "Human lives are not for sale", sets the tone for the entire plot. 

The teaser shows 'Vartika' and her squad rescuing trafficked girls from a truck. On the other hand, the teaser also shows Huma Qureshi as 'Meena', who seems like the villain of the series. She is shown persuading a girl into marriage, exercising influence born of suffering. The series is expected to show the fierce battle between 'Vartika' and 'Meena'. 

Meet the cast of Delhi Crime

Delhi Crime is all set to return with its third season and this time with more emotions and more drama. Some of the familiar faces who will be returning in this darker and bold series are Shefali Shah as 'DIG Vartika Chaturvedi', Rasika Dugal as 'Neeti Singh', Rajesh Tailang as 'Bhupendra Singh' and Jaya Bhattacharya as 'Vimla Baradwaj'. Some additional faces are Huma Qureshi as 'Badi Didi/Meena', Sayani Gupta, Mita Vasisht and Kelly Dorji.

Shefali Shah is one of India's most respected actors, whose strong screen presence has made her a standout across the film and television industry. She began her career on the Gujarati stage and moved to television in the 1990s. Over the years, she appeared in films like Three Of Us, Darlings, Once Again, Dil Dhadakne Do and more. However, it was her role in the Netflix series, Delhi Crime that showed her versatility and acting skills. Recently, she opened up about her role in the crime web-series and shared:
